It's funny how just anyone can post anything on a website.  Just a little clarification...no one has been fired at all since the new owners have taken over,  it is pretty bold to claim someone you have never encountered is an addict of any sort, Michele is a bartender and friend of the new owners girlfriend and the ladies that came into Seven Hills Tavern that night were drunk, belligerent and treating people disrespectfully.  Including the new owner and the bartender they believe is his girlfriend. They were asked to leave because of this behavior and became irate.  It's unfortunate that things cannot be fact checked on sites like these because it can be harmful to those trying to earn a living.   Now that these ladies, and I use this term loosely, are no longer allowed to patron this establishment, everyone can have a good time. Rest assured.

I went here w three other women and was appalled by the time we left. Not to mention offended, treated horribly by the new owner, and then bullied out of the bar by the owners friend. Maybe he is an addict or an alcoholic.. I don't know. But his behavior was very odd and extremely rude! He offended multiple patrons that evening and even fired a bartender that night for giving him a lemon instead of a lime in his beer.

My sister and I have each worked as tipped employees for over 20 years, (Server and a stylist) and there is nothing that can be said or done which would ever make us spend another penny at this bar. This is a shame because the other customers on the bar were a BLAST. We had such a great time until we crossed paths with the new owner. I am sorry for any regulars that have to deal with him.

Unfortunately I have to give at least one star. The way we were treated, Seven Hills Tavern deserves no stars.

Went to this bar last night....there is a very limited beer selection and they were actually out of one that I ordered, but that pales in Comparison to the new owners atitude, who was HORRIBLE!!!!!
I in this bar for the first time with 3 outher ladies, where everyone seemed very nice, until I spoke to the owner, and by spoke to, I mean in a kind way, just a casual exchange, and he was harshly rude.  When I asked him what his problem was he said "your all up in my ear and Sh*t", I was actually standing next to my friend that he was buying shots for (while his girlfriend bar tended)....I told him that he was being rude and he said "so what".  I have no idea what his problem was, until that exchange, all was fine.  A person who was with our group approached him and he was nice to her until she asked him why he was rude to me, and he told her he didn't care if he was rude or offensive to me or anyone.  We decided to leave and not give another penny to his bar.  I told him we were leaving and why, and that I would be "yelping" my experience and he said "f*ck you and f* yelp" and he proceeded to become vulgar and obscene and told the bartender not to serve us, um we are leaving, we don't want served.  A girl sitting next to him jumped off of her barstool and started screaming at me and lunging at me until some men grabbed her, when we left, I looked back and the bar tender Michelle, that was his girlfriend was standing outside yelling at us....this is like a TV reality show....this man needs to be on Bar rescue.  A group of people that we were chatting with that have been Friday night regulars for years said that he is a new owner and that he was incredibly rude the prior week as well.....I would NEVER set foot in there again, its not a safe, welcoming or well run place...

This is a neighborhood bar, the first 5 years I lived here, you'd have to drag me in here  kicking and screaming.  Now, I go a fair amount, new owners took it over late 2012 and now it has big televisions and better furniture.  That doesn't change the fact that the building needs to be leveled along with the crappy bowling alley next door so they can put something decent in it's place.  The paint job and new tv's helped, kind of a lot, but you can't polish a turd.

Awesome dive bar with EXCEPTIONAL beer specials and a kiss ass bartender Mickey. Keno is fun there too.

    5 million kinds of wings.

Ok, this is a slight exaggeration. They do have an obscene amount though...something like 50 or so. They run an all-you-can-eat-wings for $6.50 special during the week. Unfortunately, we arrived a little late for that, but we still got some tasty wings. After 6p, they only have limited sauce options, but they did us a favor and whipped up some Hot Garlic Parmesan. Excellent! Lots of huge chunks of garlic.

We also ordered fried mushrooms. Nine times out of ten, I am disappointed when I order them at a bar. The pre-fab frozen breaded mushrooms can be downright disgusting and soggy. Not so at the Seven Hills Tavern. These fried mushrooms were some of the best I have ever had! I saw the bartender put some beer in a bowl while we were waiting for our food. I was wondering what she was doing. Apparently, the homemade beer batter is mixed up fresh for each order. They also use really large, whole fresh mushrooms. I would go back just for these mushrooms.

I can't say much for the fountain Coke, but at a $1 plus free refills, I wasn't really complaining. You really can't expect a good fountain soda at a corner bar anyway.

This little "old man" bar has been around for centuries, complete with wood paneling on the walls. I think the only import beer you can expect to find is Heineken. But what you will find is surprisingly good bar food. I heard the steak sandwich is pretty popular as well. I'm already drooling for more fried mushroom :)
