great place to bowl with friends and have a few drinks. the lazor tag and putt-putt are ok if you can handle being around a bunch of kids having a birthday party.

This place is much much better than other large family bowling area type places.  The restaurant actually has GREAT food - not normal kiddie type stuff.   Even if you are not with any children, this place is great.   It's got plenty of adult only areas and therefore no one is forced to be around a bunch of crying kids.   Something for everyone.   Also a great variety --  blacklight golf, laser tag, mini golf carts.   Plenty to keep kids busy!  Love this place!!

It's a fun place to take kids & teens. Restaurant, bowling, go cart, lazer tagging, games, and bull riding.

Ate at the restaurant and the waitress was supper cool and nice.
I ordered the Tostada Salad with my dressing on the side. It was light and refreshing. I loved every bite of it, wished I had more. The kids loved the loaded potato fries, which is like having a baked potato but in french fries form. Long Island was good, not too strong. The chicken cub sandwich was good, bread was crunchy and fresh.

    Great customer service.

    Great Customer Service

I took my 2 kids there on the 24th of December, in the afternoon for some bowling and Laser Tag. We paid for an all-day pass of bowling, laser tag, & billards for $25.99. It included a $10 game card. After 2 games of bowling, we went to play laser tag, only to find we needed 4 people to play, and they had not had anyone to play all day. It was a slow day. The 25.99 pass was a waste, since we only wanted to 2 play to games of bowling.

I talked to the manager, Gilbert, He agreed to refund me the cost of the all day passes, and let my kids keep the $10 game card. It was more than I had asked for. We then proceeded to spend the $60 in the arcade. My kids had a great time, before Christmas.

    I will return often.

My friends and I always have so much fun when we go to Shenaniganz.  We love bowling in the Z lounge or just having a few drinks at the bar and watching the game.  I also just tried their new Caprese Chicken Panini and can't wait to have it again!

We got there at 11pm on a Saturday night, and it was supposed to be open until 1am, even the sign says so on the front door. But it was closed. And some people who were outside were as confused as we were, as they were trying to find out what happened as well. There was no sign stating the reason. Very disappointing as this was our first visit to Dallas.

Tonight we went to Rozie's Grill at Shenaniganz.  This was our first time there.  I was not expecting a great meal, but I was wrong!  The menu has a lot to offer.  I chose the Pork Chops, which is now one big Pork Chop about 1 inch thick and bigger that my whole hand (9oz).  I had the great beans and mashed potatoes.  When it came out to our table, it looked amazing, even Chef Ramsay would have been impressed.  The best news, everything tasted as good as it looked.  The green beans has lots of seasoning and was great and a large portion.  The mashed potatoes were good but a small portion.  I cleaned my plate to the bone and was stuffed.  My wife had the chicken fried chicken and she liked it too.  My son had Mac-n-cheese and it looked like it came from the box of Kraft.  That was the only disappointment, but he ate it all.  I just have a hard time paying 4.99 for a .80 cent Mac n cheese.  The server was Savana, she was the best.  I can not call this place a grill, because it deserves to be called a restaurant.  I give this restaurant 5 stars. It was great and will defiago back.  Little pricey, but worth it.

UPDATE: I'm going to have to downgrade my score to 4 stars.  My family and I ate there again 2 months ago, I found out the Mac n cheese truly is Kraft, the waitress told us that.  Also, the food was not as impressive as it was the first time I went, although it was pretty good.  The waitress was VERY honest, she told us what to eat and what not to eat.  I wonder if she still works there, her service was not good at all, but she was honest.  Don't remember her name.

First I'm going to discuss the restaurant, Rosie's Grill.
Their food is hit and miss. When it hits though, it's really good. The chicken fried steak makes the top of my list. It's huge, it's delicious, it's tender and always crispy. I prefer to pair it with their garlic seared green beans instead of the mixed veggies. The ribs are awesome as well but they do put a little too much sauce on them.

Their burgers are also very tasty. Cooked to order and a nice variety of toppings.
The misses include any of their pizzas, the monte cristo (too much bread and too little meat) and the french dip.

The venue as an entertainment hub is very clean. For the amount of people that run in and out of there, I'm amazed at how well this place is maintained. They also host different events for kids and adults. During the summer, they have an all you can play special for teenagers around $20. Drop off the kids at 8, and enjoy a night out until midnight. They have lock in's for kiddos as well.

Karaoke is featured in the 18+ Z-Lounge on Wednesday nights. Free bowling and nice drink specials are offered!

Prices are a bit higher than they should be, but I enjoy my time at Shenaniganz. I wish the mini golf course was larger... it really is only 9 holes, but they offer 18 hole prices... you just do the course twice (what?).

I'm a huge bowling nerd... but I wouldn't bowl here unless you like the cosmic bowling.
I like the arcade games that are offered. It's always a plus to have game cards instead of carrying tokens everywhere.

All in all, if you want a fraction cheaper Dave and Busters experience, go to Shenaniganz!

Food, fun and Go Carts!  Who could ask for anything more?

Shenaniganz...oh Shenaniganz. How do I review this place? Rosie's Grill is disgusting. The food is extremely average, but the outrageous prices make it disgusting. So, if you're going to Shenaniganz...go on a full stomach.

They have some pretty nice arcade games, laser tag, laser maze, mini-golf, go-karts and bowling. The prices are definitely on the high side, but it's worth it for the quality of their games. The cosmic mini-golf is a lot of fun (especially if you win...which I did.)

Oh and they also have a mechanical bull! I didn't actually ride it. However, I did watch a lot of people ride it. I never thought watching people fall off a mechanical bull would be so enjoyable, but it was.

My advice? Go there for the fun and games...not the food.

Update for the owner comment: The "outrageous" comment was made because the food is not worth the price. Just like Chili's...they overcharge you for the "food" they serve. Perhaps, I just caught the grill on a bad night, but all of the food was severely bland.

Fresh food is always a plus, but it doesn't mean much if it's not being cooked and seasoned properly.

Also, I've seen a few similar reviews of the food, so it looks like I am not the only one who feels this way.

The food is good and the menu offered healthy options which is important to me. Lots of fun for everyone here. Maybe the reason for three stars is lack of cleanliness.

Perfect for a fun afternoon with the family!

Went here with husband last night for Valentine's Day to do something different from the norm and I must say we had a good time. They were offering Valentines dinner's and bowling and unlimited go-karts, laser tag, glow in the dark golf, pool, and rock climbing, so needless to say we had such a good time. Our waitress, Taylor, was very nice and helpful.  This place is great for couples, or just hanging out with friends and or making new ones. Me and the hubby will definitely be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place.  The name of the restaurant is Rosie's Grill and the food is really good.  The selection of different food items was amazing, as are the portion sizes!  I couldn't finish my entree, but had to try the fried oreos for desert  (It was my birthday, don't judge).  They were TO DIE FOR!  The service was excellent and entertaining.  The really impressive thing about my experience was that the head chef walked from table to table asking the patrons how they liked their dinner and was all around very friendly.  He wasn't dressed in his chef attire, though (therefore probably elicited more honest answers).  I thought he was the manager or owner.  All in all, I will definitely be back.

So, I'm on vacation.  What to do with little homie for the afternoon that won't leave both of us completely bored, or sitting on the XBOX all day?

Shenaniganz!  It was the last day of their winter special.  20 bucks a person for unlimited; bowling, golf and lazertag.  Came with a couple game cards etc...  This sounds like it'll be great!

So on their website it said 10AM in big letters, me and little man roll on over at about 10:15-10:30.  Turns out the website was wrong and they weren't able to change it in time (?? who controls your web site??).   The manager comes out and I express my irritation, she asks us to come back and hands us a couple game cards.  Well cool beans!  Me and little man go do some shopping nearby and head on back @11AM.

Folks here are extremely customer service oriented, so much so that they just can't seem to help smiling and saying howdy all the time.

Me and homie go get settled in at the bowling lanes and Daddy does a rare bloody mary... pretty darn good too if not fancy they are tasty (Zanders in Plano has probably the best Bloody Mary in the Metroplex - do do have one!!).

We bowl 3 games and have a blast, lots of high fives and WTG buddy!!

Now its time for cosmic mini-golf, we play another 3 games of this... now we're a bit peckish.

Head over to Rosie's Grill and sit down for some lunch.  Turns out they have yet another special that instead of 10 bucks for a pizza and beverages etc... for 14.99 they'll throw in a $10 game card.  Well hell that'll put us up to $30 in game cards that I really feel like I got for nuttin.  Sure, why not.  Pepperoni pizza it is.

So, raise your hand if you'd think a family entertainment center would have all these activities AND can make a delicious pizza.

It's GOOD, it's not GREAT but it's close.  On your straight up subtle pepperoni pizza scale this pizza is delicious!!  They cook it in a wood over (or at least tasted that way), the sauce/cheese ratio was excellent and the crust was damn near perfect.

I'd even consider going there to get an XL pepperoni to go... and it's a 20min round trip!!!

We finish lunch and play lazer-tag a couple times and have a blast at that too.  Eventually I cannot hold him off any longer and we go to the game room.   We play some games and my little buddy loves these silly games.

All-in-all for 60 bucks me and my son did all of the above and were there for 4+ hours.  Chuck-E can suck it as far as that goes ;)

Why can't we have a place like this in Jersey?? Well, I guess you could liken it to Dave and Buster's but this place is much more fun!

Sadly we didn't spend much time here but I recall the drinks being large and delicious (and not that pricey) and the karaoke being fun to watch.  Also fun here- people watching.   They also have a really cool black light bowling alley and on the other side there are your standard games/arcades.

If I lived in Texas, I'd definitely be a regular here.

Nice place to bowl, and hang out with friends. The lounge is nice, its mostly adults. The drinks and food are good. A little on the pricey side, but I think its worth it.

If I could break down the ratings it would be:  5 stars for bowling areas, taste and quality/value of food served in restaurant and go-carts.

3 stars for putt-putt - 9 holes is a little on the light side for the price.

0 stars for the arcade area - the game are waaayyyyy too $$$$.  You can go a few doors down to Chuckie Cheese and play many of the games for a tiny fraction of the price.

So, go bowling and gocarting, eat dinner and have fun.  Skip the arcade!

I've only been here once. I thought it'd be a great environment for my husband's 30th birthday party (Aug. 2010). And it was, but it was sooo expensive.

Food: Eat before you come and/or just plan on drinks and appetizers. The food is overpriced and tastes like cardboard. The bar selection was pretty good though. (Update coming soon.)

Atmosphere: Couldn't get any better. The laser tag area was great. The Z room was swanky. The restaurant was fun and clean. The bowling was awesome. (I didn't check out the arcade.)

Service: We had one waiter for the entire party of 10 or so. He did a great job keeping up w/ our orders and was super friendly. The staff I coordinated with to set up the party were also pleasing to work with, but there was a hiccup. I wanted to decorate before the party and was told I'd be able to, but they scheduled a party before mine that wasn't over until just a few minutes before mine started. (They were using the entire Z room.) That bummed me out.

Value:  I was told the only option for adult parties was in the Z room. (I wanted some of the kid party packages, but they wouldn't give it to me.) The party didn't come w/ much and add-ons were not discounted. It definitely was not worth the price.

Will I go back? I would not plan another adult party there. I'd consider it for a kid party. I'd also go back w/ a group just for fun.

UPDATE (6/2010): I am taken back by the pride the owner has in his this company. He read the review I wrote above and contacted me directly to talk about my experience. He was especially interested to her more about what I ate that wasn't great. (It was pizza & wings, btw.) I'm going back to try the same exact items in the next week or so to see if perhaps it was just a poor night for the kitchen the day I went. He must have quite the confidence in his food to invite back someone to review the same thing! My expectations are high.

I wanted to go ahead and up this review a star (from 3 to 4) in the meantime. I'll edit w/ a new food review after trying it again, but this customer service and attention to detail could not go unnoticed.

It has moved forward as it hits year 3. I would recommend  the sports bar area for excellent servers. The steak is our choice and has met expectations every time as tender and cooked as desired. We have had date night to family gathering to just let the kiddos get out energy. It meets many agendas. The price can be $$ but, if you check their schedule of specials and promotions you can get in for $. It is American and family owned and operated, their story is wonderful and it helps to know the passion for fun and vision in which the Ripp family committed to...It is my fave spot in Rockwall to "get away"

Now I know that sometimes places get busy and not everyone gets noticed, but when it happens the second time, then it's definitely poor service!  I don't EVER want to go back there!  Twice I sat and waited for one of the bartenders to serve us and they just stood up there doing nothing, but talking with eachother.  I was sitting at a table just waiting.....and waiting....nothing!  Then an older couple comes in and to my amazement, they went right over to them and asked if they needed anything!  I was irate, to say the least!  I got up and had someone call the manager, who was very apologetic.  This was both times I went there!  Are they all completely idiotic?!?  One of the worst service places I've been too!  If I can spare someone or family in going there, then great cause this place definitely can't run a business properly!  DO NOT GO THERE, whatever you do!  Drive a bit further to Dallas or just keep yourself in Dallas!

Once again!!!! 5 stars. I am compelled to keep updating becuase I just cant beleive a place like this has such good food and stiff drinks!

We sat in Rosie's bar area to watch the Yank and Rangers play in the ACLS finals. I happily drank blue moon all night and my bf drank corona. We started off with the loaded cheese fries which are enough to serve 4 people. In fact the couple next to us ordered some and when their kids would pop in from time to time, they would munch on them as well. Speaking of the lady next to us, she was drinking grey & water. The bartenders poured them stiff each time.

At the end of the game I ordered the California burger which is a REAL homeade burger, not a pre-made, frozen garbage burger. I made 2 meals out of it and it was even better the next day. BF got pizza like we always get because it is just so amazing!

We just love Rosie's and Shenaniganz!! It is always so much fun and the staff is so friendly and accomidating.

Should have a listing for JUST Rosie's grill. rosie's has some of he best food in the rockwall area. We haven't had anything there we didn't like. Great burgers, brick oven pizza, my wife loves the smoked turkey sandwich, awesome salads.  Nice surrounding, you won't know you are in a bowling alley, with an arcade and indoor gocart track. we go there for rhe food, management very attentive, we were surprised he was not a franchise. Go for the food, you won't be disappointed.

It's a fun place to spend an evening. Food was good. It's odd that they serve color dyed tortilla chips with their queso and spinach dips. You have to buy a game card to use the arcade gaming area.  $20.00 min per card but I'm told the points don't expire.

If you have kids to entertain, or are a kid yourself, this is your place. We had FIVE, yes FIVE, kids b/t 6-14 to try and pacify...this place did it. There are INDOOR go-karts, an arcade, a pint-size mechanical bull, Laser Tag and bowling. They even have a restaurant and bar with TVs all over the place to watch the latest and greatest sporting event.

This place rocked. I think I had more fun than the kids did. If you go, ask for Amy as your lane server. She was awesome and VERY patient when we asked her to put up kid bumpers, and then take said kid bumpers down. (For the kids, not for me btw.)

If you want a kid-free zone they open a bowling room at night just for 21 and up. This lounge-type space has about 10 lanes, a bar, private restrooms and a pool table.

Insider Tip: They have specials that include food so check that out before diving in. But be warned, the food won't win any awards.

Note: The arcade is much more catered to kids than adults. No Ms. PacMan, Pole Position, etc.

I guess I really am an alcoholic...

I, as most people do, have a check list of "deal breakers" when it comes to dating:

    1) Can't be over 30 yrs old
    2) No kids
    3) Never married
    4) Likes everything I like
    5) Hates everything I hate

    Other deal breakers are:

The car you drive ( I prefer trucks ) usage of prescription drugs, talking intimate with ex's, cell phone being "blown up" constantly, repetitive talking, neediness, public affection, affection unwarranted, ultra high libido, purring, seductive smiles, over flirting, not giving a fuck, bugging the shit out of me and #'s 1-5. The list goes on and is subject to change depending on the relationship.

All that being said, I have broken them all. I took my current SO and her two teenage punk kids to Shenanny. It made me realize two things; How can I trust myself, if I break my own rules and that I am most certainly an alcoholic.

It was the younger kids thirteenth birthday and she(it) was asking me where we should take him and his friend, sister and her friend. I thought about Shenaniganz for whatever freakin reason.

They have an arcade, bowling lanes with giant flat screens (of movie theatre proportions) and a bar, and a restaurant. There is an indoor go-cart track and a rock climbing thingy to boot.

The restaurant serves good food, the bar is charming and has four bowling lanes as well. It's a more adult crowd, if you will, and I know you will.

The problem is that I never found myself "needing a drink" until this day. I caught (busted) myself sneaking off to the bar to get a drink. I usually drink beer, but ordered shots to take the edge off these little turds and their "Shenaniganz".

It really is a fun place and I actually had a good time. I could go on and on about myself, but you know what?

It's really all about the kids...

Hey, can I a get another SO-CO please... THX.

I have been to Shenaniganz several times.

The first time i was on a date and we went to that rosie's resturaunt thing. There wasn't hardly anything on the menu that was very healthy but i guess that's not the point of going there. i had mac n chz with toast and it was very good. then my date tipped horribly i remember and we went to play video games.

mostly teenagers working there. but hey they did their job. so i don't really care how old they are. my date complained to them that a machine didn't give me my tickets (embarressing) and they just gave me way more tickets than...i had won. which was sweet but....what was i really going to get with the tickets anyhow.

the next time there i was drunk and had heard that my friends were singing karaoke on a wednesday night at the lounge.

i didn't have much money but i really wanted to continue drinking and the beers were 5 dollars! i was in shock. i mean i bought two anyways then got a mixed drink. which was horribly small and cost like 7.50 i think. the drink wasn't even strong.

but i had a fun time with my friends singing so i guess that worked out. but come on. i'm used to 2.50 beers and 4 dollar drinks in dallas i guess.

    rockwall is so overpriced. geeze.

I found this place since I past by it every day and it always catches my eye with the neon lights..and sign with their daily speicals "kids eat free" whatever day.. "your food free if not served in 15 mins" .. and of course being next to the Toyota dealership.  So its easy to spot and easy to get to know since they finally open the exit near by! FINALLY ROCKWALL has done something.. ok back to my real review.. :P

Ok so I was trying to plan this so called bday party here my bff.. and she wanted to do something fun and just chill and close to home. We both called on separate occassions to see about prices on lanes and stuff like that. Their service sucks.. they didnt give us answers and told us a planner would call.. it took them 3 days to call me back.. it took them 2 days and 10++++ calls by my gf to get a response back.. Needless to say we did go just to have fun.. just the customer service is lacking..

This place has it all.. a little arcade for the kid in you.. and you have to use a card..thats a bummer..and it gives you tickets.. think of Daves n Buster.. tons of bowling lanes.. glow in the dark lanes.. pretty cool and nice seating area for the bowlers... privates room for the partys.. and they have a bar with bowling lanes for the 21+ crowds, which I believe it was called the Z lounge starts @ 9 pm.. has a bar area..and nice sofas.. .and big screens in front of ya while you bowl.. SO FOCUS!.... and the regular bar/ restaurant area; Rozie's grill.

Overrall the prices fare really well about 5-9 bucks on drinks.. I loved their blue voodoo-- they make it was ice cream!!!!!!!!!!...sodas are like 2 bucks..  as for food about 7-12 bucks.. its greasy..sticky.. and hearty for the bowler.. They have a variety of foods; burgers, pizza, salads, and more.

I tired the fried calamari, it was breaded with ranch breadcrumbs; just plain wrong if you ask me!! ..the fried pickles are breaded like a tempura batter.. it was decent... their wings was pretty good.. it wasnt spicy.. just make sure you dip in ranch.. the lettuce wraps where really good to me.. but not enough chicken filling!! Overrall the food was decent.. just enough to make ya full for a little bit!

Rates for the pool is 12.50 hourly but the guy mention that its pro rated..so that was pretty awesome!!

Go carts are like 10-12 bucks depending on how many laps..
Bowling is the same way money wise.. the more people the more discounts.. we happen to get free shoes!!

If you start a tab it has to have a limit of $200!!

Will be going back for sure just to hang out and have some more fun.
