  I previously gave this bar a perfect rating, but on a subsequent visit, someone roofied an entire pitcher of beer that was purchased by our party. Seriously, who does that? Not cool at all. The guy who drank directly from the pitcher became very ill, but luckily none of the girls got hit.

  How high can one's expectations for a bar be in a town such as Crescent City?
  
  My friends and I were on a bar crawl of the area and Shooters proved to be the highlight of the night. As soon as we walked in the door, the bartender pleasantly greeted us. They had a decent selection of beers, all of which were served in chilled glasses. The bar is loaded with pool tables and a solid dance area. Furthermore, the place is clean (bathrooms included) and provides plenty of space for casual conversation with each other and the eccentric locals.
  Albeit a patron known as Darlene was overly feisty with my friend, it was all-in-all a great time.

  Come on in.......the dress code is sweats and no teeth. This place is incredibly trashy as well as the scooches who hang out in there. Please don't even waste your time here, this place is nasty and nothing but trouble.

  GREAT IF YOU'RE BAREFOOT AND WEARING A NASCAR T-SHIRT!
  
  If you have any type of college education or have dental coverage DON'T go, you'll feel totally out of place.  I'm from out of town, it was more disgusting that I could have ever imagined.
  
  So I already had a bad taste in my mouth when I pulled up and saw a big primered cadillac-boat car parked right in front.  Usually the valet spot is reserved for Ferrari's and Lamborghini's, well in this case it's reserved for a big primered boat!
  
  They don't even have a full bar, I sat next to a guy wearing a flannel that reeked of BO who of course was fitting the perfect stereotype , he was also drinking a full glass of Busch beer.  Not to mention it's very bright, it was 12:30 and all the lights were on full blast, it just doesn't feel like a proper bar / nightlife place.
  
  It was odd, I felt like I was the only literate person there, surely other people could read but it felt really backwards and gross, almost all the women there were overweight , it was pretty disgusting.  After a final glance around to see if there was anything worth talking to , there wasn't, so I  didn't even finish my beer and left.  It's a shame really, because it's not entirely Shooter's fault, it's the clientele that they cater to.  A lot of WT, so I don't blame Shooter's, they're a business trying to make money, it's not their fault that they're in a backwards town.
  
  I GIVE SHOOTERS 3 STARS, Great for the people of Crescent City, but horrible for visitors like myself.
