Props to the fact the tables are not stacked on top of each other. Also the pool tables have enough room to actually play.
I am going to call out right away I didn't see an atm machine. Â How you expect me to play pool if I can't get cash to get quarters??? Crazy.
But the service was friendly. Â It was really slow so the lady brought us the remote to one of their MONSTROUS tvs and my youngest son and I watched cool animla stuff on the National Geographic channel.
We had cheese sticks and a pepperoni and sausage pizza. Â Cheese sticks were good, but not anything unique.
Pizza was great! Â Sauce right balance between sweet and savory. Â Toppings tasted good. Â And they definitely have never heard the phrase "Too much cheese" here. Â So much melty gooey goodness.
Definitely gonna chow down here more. Â Just gotta remember to get quarters for pool from elswhere next time.
I recently drove to the Wallula Gap for a mountain bike ride. Â As luck would have it, I drove by the newly-opened sports bar, Shooters. Â I just finished a windy, hot, and sweaty ride in the sand, and I think I was entitled to a post-ride treat. Â So, off to Shooters I went.
This establishment used to be a pizza joint in another life, now it is a large space with several big screen TVs, a few pool tables in the back, small & fully stocked bar, and food. Â I stopped by for a brew. Â They had around 6-8 brews on tap, as well as bottles in the fridge. Â I was happy to see Ellensburg's Irish Death & Ninkasi's Total Domination IPA on tap. Â I went with Death.
The server here was very nice, and poured me a tall one (for $5)---a bit much for me after a long & tiring bike ride, but it was nice and cold. Â I took at a gander at their menu and I saw lots of decent options here: Â burgers, sandwiches, steak, ribs, pizza....nice options to be tested after the NEXT bike ride.
A solid 3.5 stars from my first visit, and I have to round up simply because it's in the boonies of Finley!
