Came here for lunch after visiting Bucknell. Â Before I say anything else, let me say that these guys are moving two doors down in May to a larger (nicer?) building. Â I think that means they are successful.
OK, the current restaurant gets a "zero" for ambiance, which is why I only give them 3 stars. Â It's downright dingy and small, but not dirty. Â However, the food is fresh, quality and delicious. Â On it's own merits, I would give the food 5 stars.
I would definitely come here again (or order takeout) and I hope to visit their new restaurant some day.
I always am excited when Central Pa gets a new ethnic restaurant and I try to eat  there. Maybe this restaurant has multiple cooks and I have had the worst one 3 different times because my experience is much worse than other reviewers. I have eaten Thai in Philly , Baltimore and DC  but did not expect similiar quality, however the Siam is poor by any standards. The frustrating thing is just up north in Wialliamsport are 2 very good Thai places.
So far I am an offer - 0 for 3 in take out meals from Siam Cafe. The portions are average at best but the quality is poor, even for Central Pa. An example includes an egg plant dish that didn't have any egg plant! Their rice dishes had minimal flavor and there was a conspicuous lack  of  vegetables in all dishes.
Three is the charm and I am done trying after 3 failures.
Great Thai food that is always consistant. Every dish is made to order and so fresh! They don't offer brown rice, but once their new location opens up they said they will be purchasing a brown rice cooker. Aside from this one drawback, Siam is fantastic. Also, beware--dishes tend to be on the spicier side!
Review Source:Wow. Â I was visiting my niece who goes to Bucknell and we ended up at this quaint little Thai place in the middle of Lewisburg. Â I am a city person and have very high standards for my Thai food. Â Wow. Â Wow. Â Siam Cafe is about as good as Thai food gets in this country and rivals any of the best Thai restaurants in New York or LA. Â The service was great and the place was super-clean. Â Next time I go back to Lewisburg, I will DEFINITELY make a stop at Siam Cafe.
Review Source:This place is small, and if you're not going home after you eat to take a shower and change clothes you may want to reconsider...you'll smell like a fried won-ton. Â The waitress was pleasant but inept, forgot orders when she memorized them, and when she wrote them down. Â The summer roll appetizer was probably as close as you can get to eating a stuffed condom. Â Vegetables and shrimp wrapped in a big rice noodle, a clear unnappetizing cold rubbery thing. Not good. Â The entrees were okay. Â Lots of sodium. Â Felt like I needed to drink a gallon of water later. Â It was a Friday night, 7pm and the place was empty.....I think for a reason.
Review Source:Nice clean cozy little restaurant. Â Pleasant service. Â Decent portions. Overpriced for the quality of food. Â With tip we spent $30 for our lunch of two chicken dishes and two teas. Â Both our dishes (Pad Thai and Red Curry) were way too sweet. Â Almost tasted like they added sugar to everything. Â Not like any Thia dishes we've ever eaten. Â If you have a sweet tooth this is the place for you.
Review Source:As long as you're okay with takeout, this place is great!
We ordered a wide variety of items to share with our family (kids and adults) and everyone loved all of it. Everything we had was delicious, and appropriately spicy, based on how we placed our order. Â Service was friendly when we ordered and picked up.
Setting is small and has an uncomfortable kind of feel to it. Additionally, the smell from the kitchen is overpowering and somehow unpleasant. Definitely a take out kind of place.
This is such a wonderfully tasty addition to Lewisburg. Â The food is great, the service is good. Â It's a little small but that's fine. Â I love getting pad Thai with chicken. Â They can make certain dishes vegen or vegetarian if you request it. Â Go there and eat hearty!! Â Yummm! Â our children love it. Â Noodles and chicken? Â Slam dunk every time.
If you have children: the largest table they have seats 4, they have highchairs, no milk for the babies, only juice.
