I must say this place has gotten a lot better. Before I would go in and the bartenders paid little to no attention accept for the food and drink order. This time around the young lady was polite a welcoming. It felt a little weird because she asked several times that she has never seen my friend and I there which off set me but nothing serious. I was noticeable that the friendly service was a little more worked on and that she was making a good effort to spark a conversation. All-in-all it was a pleasant experience for a quick bit. I bought the grilled chicken sandwich with the sweet potato fries and I must say that it was on-point. I was actually surprised that the bar has something that could easily pass at a restaurant quality plate. So I was impressed. I am not one for the bar scene but I wouldn't mind going when it's dead inside to eat.
Things I look for at a place I spend money.
1. Genuine politeness and conversation.
2. Prices of the products being sold.
3. Atmosphere of the place in-line with the theme it is shooting for.
4. Comfortable seating.
5. Depending on the place what is playing on the TV.
6. Speed of water refill. I love water when eating so having and empty cup sucks.
But yes I can say that this place has made or is making an effort to spark up its image and its worth stopping by.
Great sports bar and pub food, one of the only places in the area where u can catch a Saints game...lol Been here quite a few times and the food has been consistently good. Burgers are huge and they have great dry rubbed wings. Was kinda bummed they got rid of the smoking patio but they really needed the room and having the pool tables out of the way is a plus. Overall, great place to drink, eat, or both.
