Went to this restaurant during off season and the staff was very accommodating. Â Fantastic food with great service. Â Ordered the calamari and fried avocado to start and both were fresh. Â The dipping sauce with the avocado was incredible. Â Ordered a margarita pizza and saved the dipping sauce to top it off. Â Best pizza I have had in the valley period.
Review Source:Ridiculously Delicious! Slice is so much more than a pizza place. Â Expect sizable portions and really delicious food! Â The fried avocado and goat cheese is a "must try" dish! Â And the made-from-scratch marinara sauce tastes like it came from your Italian grandmother's kitchen. Â I'm saving the tiramisu for next time, but the chef gave me a rundown of his recipe - sounds incredible!
Review Source:This has become our go-to restaurant during the summer after downhill biking on the mountain. Â The prices are really good for where you're at. Â Expect around $25 for pizza and drinks. Â When compared to elsewhere, it's really not too bad. Â We got the pizza, and I was quite impressed. Â The pizza tastes fresh, and is a really great value. Â The crust is crunchy, and the cheese is melty. Â I really couldn't ask for a better pizza in the time that it takes. Â Moving on to the next point, when we go in there we just need a quick bite to eat, then get back on the mountain to bike. Â This place is perfect for just that. Â Everything is quick, the pizza comes out fast, and the server always does a great job doing things quickly. Â Also worth noting, the service is very friendly, and does a really good job keeping us well-attended. Â Unlike other restaraunts in the area, they don't seem to mind that we come in covered in dirt after a long day of downhill biking. (Seriously, other restaraunts don't like that, even though it's a primary activity on the mountain in the Summer.) Â The place seems upscale, and in good shape, without costing as much as other places in the area. Â The food is great, and the portions are perfect. Â Service is friendly, and quick. Â This is just what Snowmass needed. Â Will definitely become a regular here during the summer.
Review Source:A surprisingly quality Italian restaurant in Snowmass Village. Â Don't judge it by the name as only about 30% of the menu is pizza. Â They do really fresh salads (the spinach and goat cheese with artichokes was high quality) and they have a broad selection of pastas and sandwiches. Â It can get a bit crowded during peak dinner hours, but we went twice during our week vacation and had really high quality meals with friendly service. Â I'm a pizza buff (particularly for the thin crust Italian style), and The Slice meets a high bar. Â For a family with kids, you can't get a better value for a quality meal in Snowmass. Â I'm a fan.
Review Source:Great addition to the village. Â Perfect for all looking for casual dining with good food. Â Though pizza varieties were endless and delicious, appetizers were equally good (must try the fried avocado and calamari ). Â Â They also have salads and pastas that are freshly made. Service is fine. Â They have a full bar. Â Tables are sufficiently separated. We will be back.
