Smokehouse of Florence

Not that great. I have definitely had better.

I got a chance to stop by earlier today for lunch.  They are located on the east end of a strip mall in Florence and opened recently.

They offer take out, catering, and dine-in.  The dine-in area consists mostly of booths and some tables and chairs.  I looked over the menu and had the bbq rib lunch special for $8.  It came with 3 ribs, two sides, and two slices of garlic butter toast.  The sides I picked were mac n cheese and green beans.  Overall, the food was fantastic.  The ribs were medium-sized and the sauce was nice and smokey with rich flavor.  The mac n cheese was very flavorful and not bland at all--a welcome surprise unlike many of the other mac n cheese dishes I've had here in MS.

As for value, I would have liked 1-2 more ribs--I think I devoured the entire lunch in about 5 minutes.

Service was very attentive.  I'll be back!
