Luau was unorganized! They ran out of the food.  Reservations were required, the restaurant had an approx amount of the people what would be there, how can they run out of food.  When it was brought to the Managers attention, he was condescending, rude and unprofessional!
Beautiful view, great atmosphere and newly remodeled.

It's hard to find a good quality restaurant in Key Largo. While this is probably one of the better restaurants in the area, it's really not THAT great. So far I've ordered a fish entrée (which came with soggy veggies and I believe rice?) and it was just alright. I've also ordered the grilled fish sandwich with Mahi (pretty good, but again, nothing out of this world). I also tried the fish dip, which is nice and flavorful but has too many onions for my taste. The fried calamaries are heavily battered and fried, which I don't love, so to my taste they're alright. I've never tried any of their desserts but none of them seem homemade so I don't know if I ever will. Watching the sunset might be the best thing about this place.

Someone recommended we come to Snook's while visiting Key Largo for the atmosphere. It did not disappoint! Snook's has a great outdoor space fit for a picturesque meal or drink. There were two of us and we ordered a couple drinks and some appetizers - both were great. The lobster and shrimp cakes were delicious. The patio is really nice!! We can't wait to come back.

On a recent trip to Key West we stopped in Key Largo overnight and ate here for lunch and dinner.  Great ambiance and view the band at night was great.  Had the best steak of my life (and I'm picky about steak).  The gorgonzola stuffed filet mignon was to die for! So good we had to stop there again on the way home for it.

I love to go to key largo. There are so many places to eat there. It was my birthday and I wanted to go somewhere different. I searched online and loved the scenery of Snooks. So I made the 40 mile drive from my house. Just to let you know this place is hard to find. It's down a small road by a big pink mailbox. We walked in and had got a table outside. The ocean view was very pretty. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and I'll just say it wasn't the best I've had. They did have a cute tiki umbrella in my drink though. I had ordered a small plate. I had the crab cake with a portabella mushroom. It was so tasty. For my main meal I ordered the Almond crusted chicken. The outside of the chicken was a good flavor, but the chicken it's self was flavorless. It came with roasted potatoes which were very good, and a what they called "veggie bed" which was like 2 pieces of broccoli, a cauliflower, and a little piece of squash. The staff was very nice and they gave me a free glass of champagne for my birthday. The scenery was beautiful along with the seating. They also had great live music.

A pleasant surprise in Key Largo.... and kinda hard to find. Luckily, we had good directions. You'll need to look for the tiny driveway just past the Bayside Inn. We had no idea what to expect because nothing is guaranteed in the Keys and the most downtrodded places can have the most amazing food and atmosphere. The rule in the Keys is...don't judge.

Apparently this place was once a smokey dive bar. It burned down and in it's place is a beautiful wood deck with lovely patio umbrellas and two dark wicker bars on each end arose. I even spotted some fantastic half circular couches after we were there for a bit.

We took a seat at the rail overlooking the gulf and kicked back to enjoy the sunset. The servers are wearing cute t-shirts with a simple "Cabana Boy" declaration on the back. They brought our drinks quickly although it did take a little while to cash out.

We ordered a couple glasses of wine and struck up a nice conversation with our railmates who were there celebrating their 55 year wedding anniversary! There was even a wedding on the jetty at Bayside Inn...It was so pretty and the whole place cheered when the bride and groom were announced.

We had some calamari to munch on. It was good! But the sunset view was even better. Oh! And I loved seeing all the dogs hanging out on the patio.

We decided to stay for dinner. I think the prices are a bit high for what it is and where you are but my husband enjoyed his crab-stuffed mahi. I had a nice side salad with the honey lime vinegarette. The dressing was tasty and the salad included things like hearts of palm.

We did hear the "loud server" referenced in other reviews. He didn't wait on us but we definitely heard him interacting with his other tables. Honestly, we were so laid back in our Keys state of mind that we hardly noticed. Maybe we just have an easier time falling into the attitude of the locale. It's not like we're dining with white linen with hushed service of haute french cuisine.Just relax and enjoy the sunset.

The only thing I liked about this place was the water view.

I felt like the staff had an attitude. More than one of them. Also, I spilled my $10 margarita after taking only one sip. I asked them for another and they charged me full price. I thought that was cheap and sleazy.

I'd much rather spend my time at a place like the Bayside Grille which is right next door with the same view. Their staff is super nice and laid back. Way more my speed.

Very disappointed in the kitchen. My wife and son are allergic to seafood (challenging in the Keys!). Everywhere else they separate the grills for seafood and meat. No here. We ended up not eating here. Drinks only. Very disappointing since this was recommended by a friend of ours.
Atmosphere is great, so earned an extra star.

The only positive thing I can say about snooks is that the view and ambiance might be one of the best in Key Largo. Aside from that...steer clear. Food is not good. Service is horrible. You will spend far too much on your meal. Perhaps
I would return for a drink at the bar but that's about it.

I happened to be exploring the Keys during a trip to Miami, and I was hoping to find a scenic bar with a view.  It was a little bit tricky at first, and after a bit of driving around, my friend and I pulled over on a whim to Snooks.  The views were perfect.  There's a covered area outside and then a sandy open area.  There's a wrap around bar where you can sit and just absorb the fantastic view of the water and passing boats.  The service was attentive.  Mixed drinks were good (I had a pina colada and some tropic cocktail that there was a special for).  There was also a decent beer list, especially compared to other bars in the area.  If you're looking for a bar in Key Largo that feels like a Jimmy Buffett song, this place is a great pick.  One downside: the only food I ordered was the fried calamari, and it was okay but not the best.

We had chicken, fish, and, crab cake sliders. All of them were dry. The waiter forgot the drinks. The location is really cool and the Jamaican Entertainer is a star. Other than that the place has nothing to offer. Neither the cocktails nor the dishes are worth the visit.

Was looking forward to this place after all the good reviews.  We made a reservation and the person who took it recommended a waterside table as "the best".  When we got there our table was not ready and the hostess looked confused.  Finally we were offered a table NOT near the water but by the entrance.  We took it  and after we were seated the staff was "looking for menus"...We waited longer till finally the way too busy waiter told us to please give him a few minutes, so we waited longer with no drinks no menus.  Obviously understaffed and unorganized we could see the proverbial handwriting on the wall.  We left without even trying the food as the signs were there for a slow evening with poor service.  We walked to Largo Cafe, an italian restaurant on the main highwat and has a delightful meal.

Can we say Lobster Reuben? WOW! Hands down one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Stuffed with CHUNKS of lightly breaded lobster, light sauce and your classic rye bread, this reuben was truly decadent. Not on the menu, this sandwich was one of their specials for the day so make sure you ask first if they have it. Combine that with full patio seating, gorgeous view of the bay, and chill music.., this place can't be beat!

Amazing view. Amazing long island ice tea too! We stopped in for a quick drink and after seeing the view I didn't want to leave! Boats can pull right up to the dock although the water is a little shallow.. the drinks were pricey but it's understandable because of the view. I could have stayed and watched sailboats all day! Nice. Clean. A+

My husband and I were at a resort in Key Largo. He insisted on going to this restaurant called Snooks. Let's just say the woman singing as entertainment was more enjoyable than the food. The only reason I'm giving this place a 2 star is because its outdoors and decorated beautifully!    But...Everything was soooo tasteless and waiters sucke! For a restaurant that was on the water we sure expected a lot better quality food!!! What a waste of money and time! Never again. We were still hungry when we left! Woot Woot to the young woman that sings though beautiful voice!!

This place is an awesome beach bar and grill. Right on the water  The service was great and the food was great. The Lobster and Crab cakes are fantastic. They also have a great happy hour. The locals hang here so it has to be good.
