First of all, this is NOT a BBQ joint. Â A BBQ joint serves BBQ exclusively. Â This place is trying to be too many things. Â The result is their BBQ (the only thing I've had) suffers a lot. Â Between my wife and I, we ordered the brisket, pulled pork, and pulled chicken. Â None of it was very good. Â Rule #1 with brisket. Â You DO NOT slice it paper thin and then drown it in sauce to cover up for the fact that it is now dry because you sliced it thin. Â The pulled pork and pulled chicken were half decent, but were drowned in sauce. Â Sauce should be a compliment to well smoked meat. Â If you drown your food in sauce, you're covering up for subpar meat.

Don't go here for the ambiance, what you will find is some solid BBQ. Â The ribs were dry rubbed - which pleased my honey. Â I had the open-faced sandwich with pork. Â It was a good choice - the meat was extremely tender and flavorful without being too fatty. Â
We would stop again if we are back in that area.
We live locally and this is our go-to place for good local eats. We have never been disappointed, and though we can't eat here often (tight budget) this is our spot to splurge, whenever we get the chance.
We are huge fans of the brisket and they have really good burgers. For something different, I'll order the burrito or even the nachos. But, the really do well in their meats, of course, as they are a BBQ!
awesome BBQ!! went for the first time this weekend, and sad that we drove past it so many times and didnt try it!!  i got the carolina pulled pork with dry slaw (no cheese) and husband got the  kilbasa w/o kraut (crazy i know) we also got the crab fries with cheese and baked beans..EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!  fries stayed crisp for drive back to coatesville (no dine in service :( )  the only thing i didnt like was the bun for the pulled pork..it tasted sweet but other than that everything was perfect..i cant wait to go back again!! they also have "meals for 2" which is awesome if you both are in the mood for the same thing..the young man behind the counter, who rang us up and cooked too, was very helpful and very personable..place was clean and he answered all my husbands questions about how and how long things were cooked...we will be going back soon!!
Review Source:We live local but rarely get  food here as the first few times years back  the food and service was horrible. We wanted something different and decided to give it another  shot. We were pleasantly surprised, the majority of the meal was fantastic. Hubby got a sandwich special, I tasted it and it was AWSOME( bbq pork, onion straws and cheddar) We got a kids burger which was decent, a little burnt. The side dishes were absolutely the best part of my meal. I had a 1/2 chicken platter with sweet tater fries/grilled veg, it came with summer slaw  and a roll. The chicken itself was the saddest chicken, dry as a bone and flavorless. I presume it was from a few days ago it was that bad! BUT the side dishes were really really good, the grilled veggies were incredible, sweet tater fries out of a bag frozen but decent and the summer slaw was the shining star. Eating a bite of dry chicken and summer slaw took the sting away from my cardboard bird! We got an order of potato poppers( think jalapeno poppers but with creamy taters) you can tell they were homemade and the dip was fantastic. Steak fries that came with the sandwiches could have been fried longer, and seasoned. All in all a good meal, will definately order again.

Â Baked beans are awesome...not canned type. Â Ribs are always good there. Â Customer service is iffy. One time girl didn't say thank you or anything when picking up order. Â Another time they totally forgot an item and we had to drive back w/no apology she actually tried to place blame w/us saying we didn't say it on the phone! Â Hopefully mgr sees this and trains his staff better!

Got some food on Father's Day 2012 and have been back a few times since 2010. Got a full rack again a few sides, and a couple of kid's meals (tenders and a cheeseburger). They have defintiely redeemed themselves. Ribs were more than satisfying for the nastiest BBQ craving. Nothing dry, nothing too charred. Overall very well done. In this area the best BBQ for at least 15-20+ miles, and probably the best meal for that matter. Kids meals were finished with no complaints, and were mini versions of a real adult meal.
This place is worth a trip and definitely the real deal in regard to BBQ. Don't judge this place by the town it's in. A big bonus is that this place is basically pick-up only (besides a few picnic tables outside).
These people don't know what customer service is! I walked in there today (there were 3 employees in the kitchen and most of the time, I was the only customer) and I waited 22 minutes for a burrito!!! The food was good, but not 20 minutes of wait time good! The employees were just chillin' and joshing back there!
Review Source:We went here tonight for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised. The ribs were smokey, juicy and tender. The wings were equally as delicious. The sauce is not too sweet, spicy or vinegary. There is a perfect balance of smoke, spice and sauce.
My only complaint is the lack of indoor seating and the cole slaw was more pickled than fresh.
Otherwise, we had a fantastic meal and will be sure to stop in again soon.
I discovered this place after starting a new job down in Honey Brook. I quickly discovered this place, and started going there a couple times a week for lunch. I enjoyed everything that I had on the menu, ribs, burgers, chicken sandwiches, etc. I just wish the place was in more populated area, and had dinning area, I'd probably give it 5 stars in that case.
