this is a seafood market that also cooks for take out.  we had two fried seafood dinners, a shrimp and flounder and a local trout.  they were both crispy and hot with a not to heavy breading, also the shrimp were good size  (not those tiny things you sometimes get).  dinners were served with fries, slaw and hush puppies. we ate at a picnic table in front.  so while this is not a full service restaurant,  it serves up fresh and well prepared food.  only been once but next time we are in town,  you can bet we'll be back.
Review Source:My family has been here twice when visiting the GA mountains. Â Love it.
Likes: Â Fresh seafood, reasonable prices, large portions. Â The trout was unbelievably fresh and tasty, but all the seafood was good. Â We sat outside at picnic tables with our dogs.
Dislikes: Â Definitely a fish market, not so much a restaurant. Â Kind of hard to find unless you know where you're going (downtown Blue Ridge's road signage is pretty confusing), so look it up before you head out.
Take it or leave it: Â Take it. Â Great food, friendly place for seafood when visiting the mountains.
The place looks like a dump from the outside, but the fresh seafood you can buy is excellent. Â The meals they cook are generous portions at a reasonable price. Most people do take out, but there is an enclosed screen porch where you can eat when it is warm ouside. He is open Thurs, Fri and Sat only.
