The only thing that stands out is their chicken wings special.
This is really just another neighborhood-style bar on a street in South Milwaukee that is full of them. Â Not much out of the ordinary. Â The bartenders are always nice and attentive. Â Several of the high tops have their own personal little televisions (and you can change the channel if you wish - local digital channels only). Â For the size of the place, the bar is pretty long, there are a couple pool tables in back, and for the smokers, they have a nice "hard" tent out back with tables and a TV.
What makes this place worth coming to? Â Chicken wings. Â They run a chicken wing special on Thursdays (and Tuesdays, I think). Â 15 wings + a pitcher of domestic for $10. Â It used to be 20 wings + a pitcher for $10. Â So 15 wings isn't quite as great of a deal, but I think it's still worth the drive on occasion.
How are the wings, you ask? Â Not great, but not bad. Â They do not toss them in sauce for you. Â They are fried naked and served naked. Â You get 6 different sauces with the wings and can use whichever sauces you want. Â If I recall correctly, the sauces are Medium, Hot, Teriyaki, BBQ, Chipotle, and Caribbean Jerk.
It's a cheap night out if you're looking for a no-frills place for some bar food.
