  Simply put, this particular Steak N Shake location has never earned my business on any occasion. We have never had this issue with any other Steak N Shake...and we have frequented many throughout this state and others.
  
  The final nail in this location's coffin came when my wife and I waited for 15 minutes to be seated in a nearly empty restaurant. When we were finally given a seat, we took the usual five minutes or so to decide what we wanted only to be obviously ignored by each and every server in the place. A total of twenty more minutes had gone by and the waiters were still nowhere to be seen. After waving my menu in the air like a groupie at a rock concert, we decided to walk out.
  
  We have never been back since.

  Why no rating here? I had the Frisco Melt with triple Bacon, and a bowl of chili. Melt was very tasty and satisfying. Good steak flavor and texture. The chili was rich and flavorful (suggest applying some of their pepper sauce for even more flavor and a pleasant kick!) Service with a smile. Dining room was spotless. Quick service, in fact that is why only 4 stars: everything delivered at the same time. Food can get cold easily. Was delicious! Refills on drinks flowed freely
