Stout's Pub

Any time I see the word "Pub" on a sign I, like most people think, of the golden nectars of the the Gods and would expect lots of good beer if I walked into such an establishment.  Stouts of course was one of these places and the two different types of beer we ordered did not disappoint me, though for some reason they did not serve pitchers. (??????). I had a milk brew that was a dark stout and had a VERY creamy taste.  Wonderful!  The server was nice and polite but then things went down hill as the food was brought out.  The pork tacos had some flavorful meat but could have expanded on extra to include in the tortilla except for a lime wedge to squirt onto the meat and a teaspoon of salsa.  How about some cheese, lettuce, or anything to give it some color.  Lets get creative guys!
The meat lovers pizza was okay but again something was missing.  We did not finish it.  The biggest disappointment for me was the fish and chips made from our state fish the walleye.  $13.95 for three small pieces of fish and fries.  The batter while on the outside looked good was undercooked and very mushy on the inside.  Either hotter oil or another minute in the deep fryer would have helped.  I should have sent it back but the milk brew took of my edge.  Sorry guys for the bad review but you need to work on your food and you might have a good thing going.

A comfortable bar and nice patio.  

The food is good but not great.  I like this restaurant but consistency, specifically with the pizza is lacking.  The first few times it was a-mazing.  Brick oven so the taste was well seasoned, toppings fresh.  Lately not so much.

The patio is located looking larpenteur which can lead to some good people watching.  

Service is really good, we have enjoyed everyone we've had serve us.  My only complaint in that department is it seems like some of the servers check with one person at the table and leave before checking with everyone at the table if they want a drink refill or need anything.

Overall, they have good specials, good food and good service.  It's a good dependable bar.

Absolutely Gross! This place must be facing hard financial times. My salmon tasted like it was some frozen Weight Watchers frozen meal that was overcooked and I had to pay  another $1.95 for roasted disgusting veggies I could barely gag down. Total was $20.00 give or take for absolutely horse-shit food.  Hubby had lettuce wraps and tacos and was too grossed out to finish. Drink their beer but DO NOT EAT!  Will never go back.
