Studio 8 Nightclub

I use to love coming here, but ever since that security guard Bruno started working there I'm never going back! He is so rude and harassing! He literally made my friend the birthday girl wait outside for 30 mins because he said he didn't believe that her ID was real! How stupid can he be. She showed him two IDs and he stll didn't believe her. I think he was just being an ass. He ended up just letting her in anyways without apologizing.
The dance floor and club itself is nice and it is most of the time pretty packed. The rest of the workers and security are pretty nice there.

I LOVE this place.
Don't know what other reviewers but I think Studio 8 is absolutely amazing!
(and I'm from SoCal, with Hollywood and San Diego's Gaslamp clubs to compare to).

Music is good and I always find hotties there.
People overall make for an awesome vibe.
The look and feel of the place is perfect for a club.

Drinks are whatever but if you need just pre-game a little before plus get there early enough for cheap well drinks and you'll avoid lines (I've never waited more than 5 minutes).

Overall, if you are looking for a good night out in San Jose, I highly recommend it.

Where do I start...1-bouncer will only protect the super cute but the people that are there to have fun. Some skinny cute girl with flip flops and baseball hat starts bumping into a girl that isnt as skinny trying to rub her ass against hers. When the not skinny girl tells he to stop her friend wants to start swinging at her. When I told the big blond bouncer said I'll talk to them....he never spoke to them since they danced in front of me all night. 2- blond owner is rude and racist towards black people. 3- big girl hits a man in the head and knocks him off the upper level after performer's preformed and no bouncer stopped the lady as she was doing this in front of the owner and other bouncers. So I went up to the owner and said I've been stand king here to whole time and nothing happened. I pointed out the lady and finally another bouncer saw it. 4- performer's we played last and the owner was arguing with event guy on letting them get on.By the time the got to sing the club was empty. What a waste of time for everyone. I will NOT be coming back! Go spend your 20.00 somewhere where you matter, everyone is treated fair. Sad part I was there to watch this happen to others!
