I'm too snobby for this. Yea there's a kitchen, the staff is friendly, and it's CHEAP but it just feels soooo old and NOT clean&crisp, ew ew ewww. Stopping just to sleep 8 hours on a road trip and it looks equivalent to the other dozen hotels at this exit but it's cheaper so it wins... without a JW or an Intercontinental around, what can you do...
Review Source:NOT acceptable. Â Not only was it a confusing layout with exterior entrances, and took us more than 10 minutes to find our room, but also during my less than 12 hour stay I witnessed:
-at least one possible and very sketchy drug deal
-multiple cockroaches in my bathroom and the sidewalk
-BEDBUGS.
That should do it for you. Â Bedbugs. We were out of there, but not until we made them pay for us to wash all our things. Â When we told the front desk, they seemed neither shocked not concerned, which leads me to believe this is not a new problem, nor one they plan to fix anytime soon.
Do not stay here if you value your life, safety, or health.
It's an Ok hotel, not pet friendly. Has a restaurant & lounge which is always kicking. Karaoke nites get packed, it's like the place to go in town. This is another stop I usually make throughout my travels for a nite rest. Right off the I-95. It's clean, it's cheap & good to rest. There's many food chains around the area & cheap gas across the street.
Review Source:Two Stories, Exterior entrances.
For the one night I needed to stay in this area, I chose a less expensive option - the extended stay hotel. Â I've stayed at them before and while not the greatest option, it is usually a fair option for the price.
I arrived in town around 11 a.m. and was hoping to go ahead and check in (had advance reservation) before having to be at work 90 minutes later. Â The desk clerk told me my room wasn't ready and check in time was 3 pm. Â Made no effort at all to either find me a similar room that was clean or contact housekeeping to see if they could prepare my room quickly. Â I should mention that I am a Diamond Elite member of the Choice Hotels programs, which is supposed to get me better considerations in situations like this.
I returned later that night and checked into my room. Â The property consists of four buildings, all in a long and narrow row. Â The facility is older. Â The bed was comfortable and everything I used worked well, which is encouraging for an older property. Â My only concern was that the bathtub area was not clean, which a few hairs and an empty shampoo bottle present.
Overall not impressed and will seek another lodging choice if I am in the area again.
Stayed here in route to Miami. Ive stayed in extended stays before, so I knew what to expect- Except, what I expected isnt exactly what I got.
This was by far the cheapest Extended Stay that Ive ever stayed in. It wasnt the worst, but it definitely wasnt the best. It was like $63 a night with tax and everything. The layout is spread, and kind of confusing.
The room itself had two queens (no offense to my friends) and a pullout couch. A mini fridge, and a microwave, but no kitchen setup that you typically find at extended stays. Normally, they have ice waiting for you in the trays (which, dont get me wrong, is kinda sketchy) but not this time. All we wanted after a 650 mile drive was a cold cocktail- after calling the front desk, we found out that the ice machine was a gazillion feet away, and it was raining. Oh well.
Furthermore, they didnt have linens for the pullout couch. When I called and asked if they had any, the front desk chick said that she'd have to check with housekeeping and get back to me. A half hour later (once I had already made a bed out of blankets from each of the queens) she called and said that  I could come pick up some oversized sheets if I wanted. Again, not in the rain- plus, shouldnt they at least bring it to me??
Whatever, $63 a night for 3 people- how can you really complain? 3 stars, but only because it was cheap. Supercheap.
