I agree that the donuts here are REALLY good (and the egg and sausage sandwich I picked up for breakfast wasn't bad either), but the coffee is disappointing - $2 for a serve yourself styrofoam cup out of an air pot they made god knows when. I also had a bit of an argument with the guy working the counter - I paid for my food and a coffee and he started insisting I hadn't paid for the coffee, but the receipt from their register only showed the total from my bill. I ended up handing him a couple of dollars because it wasn't worth the hassle, but I'm not planning to go back again.
Review Source:I live 1.5 miles from Sun & Moon and pass it everyday on my way to the train station in Edgewood. Â I am not a big breakfast sandwich person, but I love the egg, cheese, and bacon croissant. Â One is really enough for two people, the croissants are made fresh every morning, and you get real eggs and bacon on the sandwich with a very generous serving of cheese. Â Donuts are amazing as well. Â For a real treat, come on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday for their bulgogi. Â Unbelievable! Â The people that work here are incredibly friendly and kind and will accomodate whatever your request is.
Review Source:I miss living two blocks from here. Â The service is incredible, and the donuts and breakfast sandwiches are easily the best I've ever had in my life. Â Now whenever my fiancee and I are in the area, she begs me to stop in for some Apple Fritters. Â Don't miss out on this place. Â It's out of the way, but it's incredibly worthwhile to make the trip.
Review Source:I came here with my husband. He has enjoyed the tasty donuts before but this was my first time. The storefront is a bit underwhelming, but typical for a mom and pop donut shop. The female owner was pretty nice. She asked us if we were korean (which she is), but we weren't. The donut selection on Saturday seemed pretty small, but my husband told me that when he had come on the weekdays, it was much larger. We ordered 6 donuts. 1 chocolate glaze for me and 5 boston cremes for my husband. They filled the boston creme donuts on the spot. It appears that they leave them unfilled until you order them which makes sense from an economical prospective. They also gave us a few donut holes for free :) In addition to the donuts we ordered 2 small coffees. The donuts were delicous. The coffee was just ok. Plenty of seating too. Â Definitely will return :) Too bad it isn't as close as dunkin donuts.
As a side note my husband has also commented on their philly cheesesteaks which he said was delicious.
The donuts are fresh and addictive. Ordered a hamburger and asked for an egg on top( that type of burger was not actually on their menu) and they accommodated nicely. The burger was big and a little on the spicy side for my taste( but then again toothpaste is hot to me) but it still was tasty and fresh... best part,i could see them make the burger while I waited. I would eat here again... least i forget there is an inside dining facility a as well. However I chose mine to go.
