While the blue awning outside says Julio's, the restaurant menus have Taqueria El Zape as the title, and the food selections above the open kitchen have a different menu plastered over an old one. Â Whatever you want to call this restaurant, I call it delicious!
The steak tortas here were amazing! Â Just a tasty soft sandwich with a lot of chopped steak, lettuce, tomatoes, and melted cheese, not bad for $5. Â Even in the fridge for a few days, its still holds well. Â Also got a chicken enchilada dinner plate, which you get 4 with rice & beans for $7.99. Â They were also good, if you ask for red sauce, which gives it a good smokey taste. Â
FWI, there's a parking lot behind the building, but if you're doing carryout and feeling bold, I'd forego feeding the meter.
