  I grew up frequenting the old Tasty's on 2100 South in Sugarhouse and their spud donuts where some of the best around. Well they closed 10+ years ago so when I moved to South Davis I was excited to learn there was one left in Kaysville. Well it's a far cry from what they used to be. I went for lunch and at noon the maple bar I had was so dry that honestly I've had better from grocery store bakeries. Not to mention that if you buy a dozen donuts for $9 anything without a hole in it counts as 2 donuts. What a jip! If you're in the mood for a donut bypass this place and go south 1 mile down the road to Bowman's where they don't disappoint. The sandwiches are decent, but at $6 for a six inch it's nothing to write home about.

  Food - 2 stars and too expensive.
  Get the double blueberry donut. Best donut in northern Utah.

  This review is based on their donuts: Best. Donuts. Around.  ...  Period. Get the double blueberry cake donut. You will not be disappointed. Tasty's also has a location in Layton on the corner of Hill Field Road and Antelope Dr.

  Best donuts in Davis County. Their subs are okay but the blueberry cake donuts are legendary. Sure beats the stuff you can buy at Krispy Krud and the service is stellar.

  Service is horrible, and the food is below average.  Keep heading north to the Krispy Kreme in Layton.
