  Great spot for ribs and atmosphere. Awesome outdoor venue area and full bar. Casual service with some classy touches like bloody mary's served in mason jars with pickled green beans, YES! also a good burbon sweet tea for a hot afternoon.

  Great waitress.great menu and atmosphere.  Beverage served in mason jars which we liked. I had ribs and they were good but not great.  The slaw was dry & without taste, baked beans had a good flavor, the plate had a stack of tortilla chips which don't go with barbeque in my book and  plastic forks were brought to the table after asking.

  This BBQ joint is fantastic. It some of the best BBQ I have had in a while. Great beer selection as well.

  Restaurant used to be known as Hot Wauchula's. Stopped by on a week night and was met by enthusiastic and friendly wait staff.
  
  GOOD:  The menu was extensive for a barbecue joint, and was surprised to see so many choices in micro beers and unusual soft drinks from around the country. Even had wine and champagne. Ordered brisket sandwich and hubby had brisket dinner. While the brisket was tender and tasty, two kinds (shredded and sliced) arrived on the sandwich and for the complete dinner. My fault for not asking but the menu should have specified which type. Some people will view this as a plus, however, so they can try both types.
  
  BAD:  The silverware consisted of only cheap plastic fork in a package and no knife so we had no way to cut the sliced meat. Hey, I don't mind plasticware in a casual tavern-restaurant, but at least make it the heavier kind that doesn't bend when I try to use it. Very annoying. The meals arrived with "homeade" chips, and again I should have asked, but they were tortilla chips, not potato chips or thin potato slices as I expected at a barbecue place. Bleh. Leave those for the southwestern restaurants and give me something more substantial for soaking up sauce. Or something more original. The sides for the dinner, beans and slaw, were good but arrived in tiny plastic containers. Really? We are paying $14.95 for a brisket dinner and you give us the sides in tiny KFC take-out containers? Management needs to rethink this one. Lower the price or offer bigger sides with dinners.
  
  Long review short ... the staff is attentive and efficient. Menu varied. Our meals were overpriced for what we got. But they do have a patio area with live music and we will be back to try other lower-priced items such as burgers and nachos. A work in progress.
