This is my first yelp post in a VERY LONG time. I came here for a buddy's early birthday bash and I didn't have very high expectation because it's literally across from the library and it's Milpitas. With that said, this place is pretty damn sweet. Why? Lemme tell you...

    1. The guy who owns the place is named Silver Dragon. I kid you not. At first I was quite apprehensive and quizzical, but he's super nice and he hooked it up with some bomb shots (strawberry shortcake, watermelon jolly rancher, mint choc. chip ice cream, and tootsie roll.) The watermelon one and shortcake tie for my favorite.

    2. It's small, but it's still a decent sized for the amount of people my friend invited. Plus $1 tacos are always a plus.

    3. Although we came on an EDM night and I'm not the biggest fan, the music was good and the rest of the week is either karaoke or hip hop and top 40s. It's nice variation to cater to different people.

    4. I didn't have to go to Dave and Buster's and be with a cluster of people and wait forever for service.

    5. My friend got chocolate wasted and it was awesome.

    I will definitely be back.

Tuesday is the best day to go.
    -not that crowded
    -edm night
    -$1 tacos. YUM

I really like the bartenders. Everyone who is there is really friendly.

    Note: they don't make mojitos

Minus one star because it is a police hot spot. I was just there for my friend's early birthday celebration. He got fucked up and ended up outside and this lady cop pulls over hella rude and disrespectful. Shit.

But other than that, great place to be at. They have a pool table and a darts machine. Every night, there is a special.

I love this local hole in the wall.

What's his name... DRAGON?? (their number 1 bartender) He hooked us up with some Strawberry Shortcake Shots! OMGOSH it was so delicious that I had 2 more. :) Plus a mint chocolate chip, tootsie roll and a watermelon jolly rancher or something like that. IT WAS ALL GOOD! Very cold and sweet.

I spent my birthday here and there was only my group of friends and a few other folks. We danced, we played pool and we drank. That's how a bar should operate.

    WOO HOO! Milpitas night life!!!!!!!!!

p.s. you can request to change the music and pretend to be dj as well.

A guy who doesn't care for alcohol walks into a bar...

No, this isn't a bar joke. But there is a joke. Oh yeah, I'm the joke!

I've never been much of an alchie guy. I blame my Chinese heredity for 1. being cheap; and 2. suffering from Asian Glow, which causes me to feel the negative effects of alcohol more severely without getting a buzz. I'll still drink socially, but it's not something I really find joy in.

    SHOTS: (4.5 stars)
    ------------------------------
Which is why I'm ecstatic that Tequila Shots has these ah-mazing strawberry shortcake shots with the perfect concentration of alcohol - just enough so you know it's there, but not enough to really taste. Instead, you get a blast of strawberry shortcake goodness in your mouth! Finally, drinking for me CAN be enjoyable!

So enjoyable that I ordered a second! TS had us here for an Unofficial Yelp Event (celebrating two special ladies' birthdays), and shots were only $2. Reasonably priced to satisfy even a cheap guy like me!

I also tried the watermelon jolly rancher shot and the mint chocolate chip shot. Interesting, but not quite as enjoyable as the shortcake.

    FOOD: (3.5 stars)
    ------------------------------
TS also has one different happy hour special each day from 4pm-7pm:

    Sunday - $5 super quesedillas
    Monday - $5 super nachos
    Tuesday - $1 tacos
    Wednesday - $5 hot wings
    Thursday - $5 cheeseburgers
    Friday - $2 sopes
    Saturday - $5 flautas

But since we were at a Yelp event, we got HH pricing on all items. The tacos (we chose carne asada) were pretty legit. The nachos were enjoyable at first, but quickly turned messy as the large amount of cheese caused the chips to get soggy.

    OVERALL: (4.5 stars)
    ------------------------------
TS gets some extra love because the staff was so friendly and on point, and the bartender Silver Dragon made sure we were all taken care of. The bar was bumpin' with music by a live DJ.

Usually I want some variety when I eat out. I wouldn't want to come during happy hour and eat nothing but cheeseburgers. Tacos, maybe. I'm a little bummed that only one item is discounted per day, but with an already limited menu, it's understandable. They need to make SOME money, after all.

And those strawberry shortcake shots? Heck, I would come back any day and even pay full price for them if I had to. They're THAT good.

I was invited to a party here by two Yelpalicious birthday girls who are hawties in their own right, but they had some serious competition with the Bar staff hotties. No, not Hot Totties, but Top Hotties!

It looks like a classic masonry walled, low ceiling, dive bar under the freeway. And for years it was, a Drunks bar for Losers, and later a Sons of Anarchy Biker bar. Rough!

But Juan and Elvira (yes like the TV Witch, in many ways besides name only) are really chill owners and cool, very down home people. They turned this place around starting 2 years ago, and now the crowd is more reflective of the surrounding community of Milpitas, with a younger vibe and a friendly demeanor.

They have 5 flat screens and one large projection pull-down screen TV, and they have a small pay Pool table in the back. They have food specials every night, like $1 Taco Tuesdays. I had the chicken wings and they were crispy, salty, spicy, and perfect to accompany your favorite adult beverage.

I think Mondays is Karaoke night, and they have a DJ every night, so you can have an intimate little club without the outrageous club prices, and still be surrounded by Ruby Skye types who don't want to drive 100 miles round trip to the City. But relax and wear your jeans, not your Vegas-barely-covers-myass-tube dress (except when I am coming down again, then holla!)

The bar staff, all with pseudonyms to keep the stalkers at bay, are luscious but not Pole Bar-ish, just nice beauties with names like Foxy, Princess, Sweet Pea, Cupcake, and led by Silver Dragon, the Tong leader.

Juan's motto is, if you have a good time, tell a friend, and if something isn't quite right, then tell him, and he'll try to make it right.

Now there's an owner that gets it! Come on a weeknight, because on Friday/Saturday, it is amateur night and packed! I always found Wednesday and Thursday is regulars night at any bar, and here you have Karaoke Monday and Taco Tuesday!

You Raider Nation die hards, they have tail gaiters in the large parking lot game days. Although when the 49er stadium is finished nearby, it might be a Red and Black party.

Very poor service. Bar tender prefers to chat with his friends than to serve.  We had to walk out after 1/2 hour.

Silver Dragon!  Come to the bar to meet this mythical bartender.  He is the best!  This is an awesome spot, kind of under the radar.  I secretly come every few weeks, and the bartenders always remember me =) Drinks are awesome and cheap!

I dug this place and will certainly hit it again when I'm in town for business.  It beats the hell out of the generic hotel bars I usually have to patronize.  It has that small local bar feel that I've really not found anywhere else in the area.  I had some nachos which unfortunately used liquid cheese and were tolerable but nothing special.  Certainly a place more focused on sitting to have some drinks and just enough food to fill the hole of hungry drinkers.  Nice and unpretentious which is just my style.  Don't let the 3 star rating fool you....it's a high 3 for a place I recommend.  Don't be scared off by any of the reviews mentioning the bad neighborhood.....it's nothing close a neighborhood that should make anyone worry about their safety.

I don't really know what the hype is here. Sadly, this was my first Yelp let-down. Up until now, Yelp has always come through for 3.5+ stars. We got here late looking for tacos on a Friday night. Unfortunately, the kitchen had just closed. We posted up at the bar and it looked like they were starting to close up. Asked them if they were still serving drinks or beer and they said yes. I asked for a Blue Moon. Our bartender pulled the handle and what came out? A clear yellow liquid -- this was obviously NOT Blue Moon: the cloudy unfiltered wheat beer with coriander essence. I was expecting her to stop pulling the tap--hoping she'd notice the mistake. Nope. Kept going. Ok, maybe it's dark behind the bar and you can't tell what's cloudy or not.  Maybe when she brings it to the bar where it's brighter, she'll be the wiser and notice. Nope. She puts it in front of me, "That'll be 4 bucks please." Ok, $4 for a pint off the tap isn't that bad...but the fact that she thought she poured me a blue moon and never noticed that it was clear..now that's bad...for a bartender. I didn't say a word. I drank it -- it had to have been a Stella Artois. Had she just noticed, I would've said, "No worries, I'll take Stella--"

We sit for a bit longer and then another bartender comes out of the back with a big smile on her face yelling, "Security! Security, get over here!" I remember wondering if this was a joke because her affect or tone of voice didn't match the messaging. Apparently it wasn't a joke. Security came rushing in and told everyone in the bar that we had 2 minutes to finish our drinks and vacate the premises. Um, it's only 12:45. Why don't you remove the offending patrons, not everyone else enjoying themselves? I found this very odd.

This place was totally sketch. Wouldn't come here again if someone asked me to.

The Yelp gods have been good again! They led us to this awesome haven.

Dark atmosphere with a vibrant backlight that constantly pulses and changes colors so all the alcohol appears to be glowing. The music here is some of the best I've ever heard in a bar. The remixes are brilliant! Many are done by Silver Dragon himself, who also happens to be one of the coolest bartenders in the business. He sure knows what he's doing and takes great care of you! His drinks are always generously strong and bold in flavor, especially the shots.

The Strawberry Shortcake is literally THE BEST shot I have ever had. You know how shots are usually nasty and you cringe before taking them? (C'mon, just admit even the toughest of you cringe a little bit.) Not so with this one! Knock it back but you want it to last forever, because it's like cake in your mouth. Absolutely divine. And when it's gone down it leaves a tantalizingly delicious and creamy taste on your tongue. This might generate some discussion from the dirty-minded, but there's just no other way to put it in words.

Extremely chill on weeknights, but I hear it gets pretty packed on weekends. When it's less busy, it's nice to receive personal attention from the bartenders. This is definitely the new favorite spot of Kevyne R and myself. Thank you Yelp gods for being so kind! TIP: They offer a special food deal each night of the week. Get some eats to go with that buzz, such as $1 tacos!

DATE TIP: The perfect dive bar if you both enjoy ridiculously good music and sweet creaminess in your mouth... from the Strawberry Shortcake Shot! Not sure what YOU were thinking...

Came here last night, Friday April 26, with my best friend. We both haven't been here and wanted to avoid the large crowd at D&B's due to the Warriors game. This place is located near the Milpitas Library, wasn't really in such a great part of Mipitas. The lovely smell of Milpitas filled the air once we stepped out the car. Anyways, we went in and there was a good amount of people, great DJ (he was playing all the good songs which i like). The bartenders were friendly, there as a girl and a guy (who i assumed was the owner). He asked if it was our first time there and gave us his signature Strawberry Shortcake shot on the house, which was ON POINT. Tasted just like a strawberry shortcake. I recommend to try it. We left before 11pm because we had a movie to catch so i can't really say how it is after 11pm. But i will def come back again and with more people.

i always thought this was a hella ghetto bar in milpitas because 1. its under the overpass. 2. its right next to a library 3. its hidden in a corner.

the first time i've been here was a few years back when i turned newly 21. my friend and i was curious what kind of bars are in milpitas. SERIOUSLY! it's MILPITAS! are there really any bars?! at first it was sketchy walking out of our car and into the bar. actually, we never made it in because we thought it was really ghetto.

a few weeks back, my friend suggested to go there on a friday night -- late at night. my first impression was 'you want to take me to a ghetto ass bar in milpitas?!' he said 'its not ghetto! its actually pretty good.' at this point i was already buzzed from my tequila shots. so we head over to tequila shots' bar & Grill.

i gotta say this bar was pretty cracking on a friday night! more cracking than some of the bars in davis on a friday night! the bouncer was friendly. right when we walked in it was pretty pack! bartender was awesome and nice. she made me my midori sour! teehehee

it is a pretty small bar. it can seem very crowded right when you walk in. They have many flat screens tvs playing the basketball games. and there is a huge tv screen next to the dance floor. no one dances -- everyone is just sitting sipping on their alcohol drinks. there was a guy with 2 laptops on facebook. o_O

they play good music! which kept my happy buzz on!

would i come back? yes yes!

Once again this establishment has deemed itself as wannabe ghetto.  It's in Milpitas, don't pretend you're in the hood.  In addition, the dude who gave himself a dragon nickname is a jerk.  This was the second visit where he has taken the change and claimed that I gave him a bill smaller than a twenty.  There is no way I would tip someone +$6 who won't pour anything with more than one ingredient.  Only beers and shots served here.

It was pretty funny to overhear a guy the next night at El Toritos trying to talk a girl into going to Tequila Shots.  She made the point that it's not a good idea to get too messed up in Milpitas due to the police presence.  The guy ensured her Mr. Dragon pays off the cops so they don't bother the patrons.  Ummm, yeah...sure.  They must not keep up with local news.

It was poppin' on a Friday night and the crowd was friendly and tipsy.

Security was a little curt when he came over and asked if anyone had stamped our hand when I entered.  Of course not, he was the only bouncer I saw and he was no where near the door when we arrived.  If he had looked like security I might have stopped but he was wearing a Tap Out sweatshirt and a baseball cap.  He was picking up bottles and empty glasses in between keeping the place secure.

Beware the bartender who calls himself the "Silver Dragon."  He wouldn't make a complicated drink because it was crowded.  Seriously?  It's a bar, people go there to drink.  I wanted a chavela and he gave me a beer with a shot, there's slightly more mixology involved.  That was $12 but he decided to keep the change when we gave him a $20.

Was in the neighborhood with a few hours to spare and decided to do some early afternoon drinking before dinner. Place had high ratings so decided to check it out.  Pulling up to the lot my gf was sketched out....the place is next to a library under a bridge. No widows.  I convinced her to get a drink and I'm glad we did. This place is an unexpected gold mine for a dive bar. SILVER DRAGON best service in town!!!. Tacos are good, drinks are well priced, and the waitresses are good looking. Definitely give it a try if you are in the neighborhood

I'm pretty picky when it comes to bars.. Questionable first impression of the exterior but it glad to say it doesn't reflect its interior.. and at first, didn't think this was the bar for me.. But after staying for a few hours, the place grew on me.. GREAT DJ, played hip hop/top 40/etc.. definitely a chill relaxing place.. Really clean for a 'dive bar', classy looking display of alcohol with lights, pretty impressed..  It's not a club though, so don't be expecting some fancy place.

    TWO WORDS: SILVER DRAGON
Sweetest bartender you will ever meet. Like everyone said, be nice to him and he will treat you right.

Check it out, you really have NOTHING to lose :)

Small place, good service but not a place to hang out really. Came here on a Friday night and just wasn't feeling it here.  Music is super loud, not too much seating and didn't seem too busy here. Not to mention it's kind of out in the middle of nowhere by itself. It's really not a bad place, but probably not my cup of tea that day.

What a hole in the wall bar this is but it's a pretty damn awesome one!!! Went here for a friends b-day during the weekday.

The place was big enough to accommodate all 40+ people that we had. There's a dance floor that's small and the bar is pretty spacious. Plenty of high table and chairs to lounge and chat with your buddies.

What I like about this place was that they sell 40oz. bottles of Coors Liight! The drinks are fairly priced and reasonable. The bartenders are cute and will take your money... after you order of course!

    So.  Random.

Met friends here for happy hour.  This is a random dive bar UNDER THE FREEWAY OVERPASS in Milpitas.

Had their tacos (which I heard was a must) and a beer.  The service was horrible (but friendly), the beer was delish, the food was fine but the company was definitely the best part!

I have no desire to go back but could see why this would be a fun dive bar for locals.

I'm really excited to have a quality bar in Milpitas I can go to now. This place is really popular for a dive bar, and I can see why.

It's spacious and clean. The bartenders were very cool. Silver Dragon gave us free strawberry shortcake shots to try. It was amazing. You couldn't taste the alcohol at all. It was so sweet and yummy just like a strawberry shortcake.

We also ordered some mixed drinks with gin, which were fine.

I'm looking forward to coming back during their Happy Hour sometime.

This is the only dive bar that I will frequent. Why?

    1. Very affordable drinks.
    2. Friendly staff. They each have nicknames - I only know of Silver Dragon and Jazzy. There are a couple more bartenders - all very nice.
    3. Very relaxed/chill atmosphere.
    4. Good music.
    5. Surprisingly clean restrooms. Yes, I've been in the Men's.. What? I really needed to pee..

If you're celebrating a birthday, let them know. They'll take care of you. :)

Ladies, do come with a friend so that they can save you from guys with horrible pick up lines. True story: Dude - "Let me guess, you're a dentist?" Me - "Uhhh.. no.." Dude - "You have nice teeth." Really.. that's the best you got?! -__-

How to rate this, it was hard.  Silver dragon was on point, great service and friendly smile despite being slammed.  The bathroom....I nearly decided to do it nature style, hahah yuck!  But otherwise, if you like blaring hip hop, rap and pop, a sloshed crowd, and decent drink prices this place is ok.  Just not my bag.  I didn't try the food, so unfortunately I can't rate the nums, don't know if i will evert go back honestly.  Im sure it's a blast for the right crowd though.

I came here on a Saturday night with a group of 8. When we showed up initially, us ladies were a little unsure. A dive bar under an overpass, hmm..
But inside is a different story. It's very chill inside, mixed crowd. The dj played some older hip hop and r&b tracks (90s-early 00s), the tvs played some random channels. Fair amount of seating, not easy to gather a group larger than 6.

The night began with a pitcher of beer for the gentleman and a round of patron for the whole group. The shots (from what I remember) are definitely not as conservative as other bars in San Jose and Fremont. The bartenders that night were Silver Dragon, Cupcake, and Jazzy. We had Cupcake and Silver Dragon taking care of us, and they definitely took care of us.
Silver Dragon hooked us up with several free drinks throughout the night, including a few of his own concoctions: strawberry short cake, watermelon jolly rancher, mint chocolate chip....
Cupcake was an amazing bartender as well, not to mention super pretty. She made our AMFs, Tic Tacs, and many other drinks in record time, all of them so yummy!  The whole staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. And they are extremely generous when pouring.

The kitchen stays open with the bar to cater to those late night munchies. Not gourmet food, but after a few drinks, those nachos do their job.
AMAZING bartenders, fair prices, interesting crowd.

My brother and I were in search of bar near our house so we could celebrate the SFGiants win the other night. We literally live a block away from the place and never thought to venture to this bar because, let's be honest, the location is a bit sketch. To our surprise, this place rocks!

The venue is small, but has a homey feel to it. It's not like Mac Claren's (HIMYM ref) but more like a Cheer's vibe to it. There seems to be a lot of regulars that come by that sit along the bar. There are a few tables and pool table but I wouldn't come here with a large group since, by the looks of it, they can't accomodate too many people.

Like other yelpers mention, Silver Dragon is the best bartender. He's super friendly and knows how to sell his business. He gave us his famous complimentary concoction - the strawberry shortcake shot. IT IS DELICIOUS. It tasted exactly like it. Apparently, he uses three different kinds of vodka and they must be weighted exactly or else the flavor of the shot is off. Elementary my dear.

Not to mention, the tacos!! I was surprised at how good these were. Come on Tuesday nights for their taco happy hour!

Came back for the tacos finally.... and damn were they good.

I came in on a Monday for the MNF game and ordered a Capachana (chorizo and carne asada mix), al pastor and shrimp taco.  All were really good, especially the Capachana with the mix of asada and chorizo.

On top of that, met more awesome people and bar folk (Silver and Cupcake).

Great drinks, great conversation, great food, great times!

Walked in on a Tuesday night.  Ok ok...I know.  That's like setting up the establishment for a disastrous review, but what was I supposed to do? It was Tipsy Tuesday and we had some tipsying to be done.  My buddy had been suggesting that we try this place for quite a while and we decided to give it a try.

TBH, not my kinda scene.  Definitely an older crowd...like the "Cheers" kind except more aloof and cliquey and in Milpitas.  But the bartenders were both really nice and welcoming.  They made our drinks quick and strong...but drinking with a bunch of 30-somethings in a quiet-ass bar and hearing all these awkward conversations was not what we had in mind for our little adventure.  So we dipped.  The bartender tried to keep us to stay by offering us a free round - dawwwww (':

I'd prolly give it another shot because of the staff there...but next time, I'd roll in a little deeper than just me and my two friends.

A very much welcomed addition to Milpitas' scarce bar scene, Tequila Shots solidly delivers on personable service and tasty drinks.

TS is your go-to local bar where you know all the bartenders there and just wanna sling back a few drinks with friends in a low key, judgement-free environment. The establishment is clean, respectable, and also maintains a divey vibe.

If you want VIP treatment, ask for Silver Dragon. Without a doubt, he will personally see to it that you enjoy your night at TS. He makes delicious concoctions (sometimes they'll be on the house) and chats it up to get to know you. I felt compelled to leave him a fat tip because he was so nice to us.

Part of me is hoping that this little bar flies under the radar, but nonetheless here I am yelping to help ensure that TS will be there for the good times to come.

Being born and raised in Milpitas, I would have never thought I would end up going to a bar that was actually within city limits. I would have never thought that this place was as great as it was. Like the reviews say, ask for Silver Dragon...he will hook it up with the strawberry shortcake....

Haven't tried the food yet but with a great DJ and a great bartender who makes amazing drinks, why would you want to go anywhere else? We ended up at another bar in downtown san jose towards the end of the night....definitely should have stayed at tequila shots.

Note: I actually was so impressed with the quality of the service and the drinks that I started writing this review while I was tipsy at the bar. So here's my original drunk montage of Tequila Shot's Bar & Grill.

Omg the Strong Island is strong.
    *wincing*
    Too many Liquid Cocaines.
    O crap I'm tipsy already.
    *hysterical laughing*
    Strawberry shortcake shots!
    Then the Black Superman.
    *chug chug*
    Thennnnnnn I don't know hahahaha.

As you can see I'm a pretty weird drunk. :P

Back to sober review: As far as I can remember, Silver Dragon bought us free round of drinks! (Thank you) What's funny was that the music was even better than club music. Wasn't too crowded when I arrived, and I have yet to try their food. All in all one of the better bars I've been to. :)

My friends and I put off coming here for so long because we were terrified of any place under an overpass. I'm so glad that we gave it a chance and now we finally have a great local bar! Upon walking in, we all exclaimed, "Ohh, it's not bad!"

Per Yelp's recommendations, we ordered strawberry shortcake shots to start. Silver Dragon was excited that we knew about his signature drink, and proceeded to dote on us with his many inventions (a Tootsie Roll shot, a Jolly Rancher shot, and a mint chocolate chip cocktail), each tasting just as he promised.  At 2 oz pours, he is by far the most generous bartender I have ever met. We ordered silverbacks, and while most bartenders are conservative with the 151, he poured until it overflowed! Even at this amount, prices were no more expensive than other bars ($8 for shots or cocktails, $10 for the silverbacks).

The bathroom was sparkling clean, and with the exception of the leopard print carpet, it was a nice place overall. The dj on deck was incredible, and I wish we caught his name. Anyone who plays Jackson 5 and YG in the same mix gets five stars.

There are very few reviews about the food, so I will start there.  First of all, this is NOT a "grill" but actually a taqueria.  That being said, the food was OK, not fine Mexican cuisine, but hey....this is a BAR.  Had the appetizer sampler platter. Loved the crispy wings, not spicy just mild. The Onion rings had a little to much oil for my taste.  But the fries and the quesadillas were good.  My hubby had the "super" burrito, he said it was pretty good with just a little kick of heat.  I ordered the enchillada platter, the menu indicated that it came with rice and beans...instead it came with a side of shredded lettuce with tomato and avocado slices.  Menu needs to be corrected.  Otherwise I thought they could use a little more sauce, but they were good.

Like so many others, I felt very welcomed right away.  The atmosphere was very upbeat, even if it was "early" (7:00ish).  DJ came in just as we were leaving sometime before 9:00.  Looked like it was going to be a good evening at Tequilla Shots.  And YES... you have got to try the Strawberry Shortcake!

I can't believe I drove past this place for 4 years and never thought to try it out, but I am so happy I finally tried it out a few weeks ago! Definitely a more chill environment, a little on the divey side, but it's a great place when you just want to unwind and grab a drink or two...or ten.

The bartenders are such sweethearts, so make sure you show them a lot of love and they will return the favor. I was unsure of what to order there, so they made quite a few suggestions for their more authentic Mexican drinks, and I loved every single one of their recommendations. As many of my fellow Yelpers have mentioned, the strawberry shortcake shot that Silver Dragon makes is a must try; I swear it tastes like candy, so beware!

They also have some pretty good music playing there at night and a small dance floor, so after downing some liquid courage, feel free to dance the night away.

If you're looking for an unpretentious place to just sit down and grab a drink, this is a place for you. I know I'll be coming back quite often now that I found this little gem.

Walked in with my girls on a rainy night, almost felt like we were in a movie scene..., single girls looking for drinks and a good time. Drinks and a good time was exactly what we got!! Silver Dragon, the bartender hooked us up and made us feel very comfortable! 3 shots on the house was a great way to keep us smiling.

For a dive bar, this place is pretty awesome. Don't let the location turn you away! Great alternative to Dave and Busters if you just want a good drink and good music without all the noise.

Loved the strawberry shortcake shot and the "Strong Island" Dragon made for me!

I Came by this place by "WOM" that "Tequila Shots Bar and Grill" got a remodel!
My buddy"D"had been there before and said they'd changed, really nice now!
Music by guest DJ's on the Weekends. The music is alway on HIT!

The Bartender on Thur-Fri-Sat to see is the "Silver Dragon" !!!
He'll hook you up a drink is seconds, anything you could think of...
His specialty is the Long Island, but what he calls a "Strong Island" !
Tacos were like a buck fifty...I ordered at least three!

Tequila is the featured drink here, 38 varieties.
I think the Silver Dragon told me that connoisseur or not
they have one @ $45 a shot!     I'll stick with the Beer on Tap!!!

They have Karaoke on Sundays and Wednesdays with a good mix of people.
Cute Lady Bartenders on Sun-Wed. People genuinely seem to have a good time here, they're dancing, meeting friends, laughing and many come in groups I've noticed...
at each tableThere is, "The Tower of Beer", filled at the bar with something
like 2 to 3 pitchers is the way to go on weekends Chillin' with your Homies.
Fun place to be...I'll be back for sure!

    Pros:  Vibrant atmosphere,
Big Screen for when a  game is on and at least 3 to 4 TV screens throughout,
Friendly Staff, Good food, Good Drinks, Clean with Colorful lights and Ample Parking.

Cons: For me? Gotta drive 30 mins to get there

A great place to have a chill night with some friends.

They have electronic darts, a jukebox, and pool tables. The drinks are very reasonable as well.

They also have those super tall beer towers that you can get.

Bartenders "Jazzy" and "Silver Dragon" were awesome! "Jazzy" is super cute and funny. They were super friendly. Ask for a "Strawberry Shortcake" if you're interested in a girly shooter that contains Birthday Cake Vodka! Pretty good.

I'll be back to see these two bartenders!

For great service. I've been here twice and service has been amazing both times.

I wish I could remember the name of the bartender from my first visit. She was really sweet. We brought a friend out to chill for her 21st birthday and the bartender hooked us up with a few drinks for our friend to try. She was attentive, friendly, always smiling. She really made us feel welcome.

Last night, we came in for a relaxed Saturday night. Everybody was great. I believe it was one of the owners who even came over to turn on a game for us. He actually took the initiative. We never even had to ask him. Our two bartenders who introduced themselves as "Jazzy" and "Silver Dragon" were awesome. The drinks were strong and the bartenders were attentive and easy to talk to. Also, Jazzy gets extra points for being a fellow Cal bear! Thanks to the both of them for making our Saturday night so fun.

OH! ALSO! I LOVE THE MUSIC! I'm a huge hip hop fan and it's so hard to come by nowadays especially in downtown San Jose. Thank yooooou for playing the good stuff. Shout out to their DJ. I wish there was more dancing going on at this place. That would be the clincher for sure. :D

    [edit 1/28/2013]

The bartenders come and go, but I haven't really met anyone I don't like. I just met "Chanel" who is super sweet and fun... and knows all the lyrics to all the songs. Haha. They also added security which I don't mind since they're also all really nice. :)
