  I would rate this place very poorly in service. Used to order from here every Friday night. Now your lucky to get through on phone. last three times service was poor. this may be last time we eat here. Tonight manager was rude and was told they had no bread tonight, on a Friday night!! this place has gone down hill. should have gotten salad and didn't. not the first time either this has happened

  The place is your typical Texas themed steakhouse. The service is fair but the food is poor. Find somewhere else to go. The potatoes were cold and the chicken was as thin as iPhone. So it was very dried out and not at all what I had hoped for.

  Let's look past the worst filet ever, and the fact that their idea of medium well is probably arson in several states.  The worst part of this place, and my worst restaurant experience in recent memory; this place was swarming with "in your face" houseflies.  This problem seemed to be the worst in the dining room that overlooks the parking lot, but I constantly had one hand in motion to keep the flies from landing on my food, on my glass or elsewhere in the vicinity.  I called the manager over to advise her of this - her response: Sorry - we know.  It has been this way for several days and we have no idea where they're coming from.  
  
  Mu guess - I'm sure the flies are there because the restaurant is clean and sanitary.

  GROSS.
  I detested my wal-mart bagged salad with a pinch of finely shredded cheese mix on it, nothing else to spice up this salad!
  Hormel chili, here we come.
  OK, do they even COOK anything back there? I can peak into the kitchen, I see no grills, no prep areas. I seriously doubt they cook a bit of food, unless you count the microwave. No scent of food cooking, no noise,  and the kitchens view is blocked off to guests, odd.....
  So our steaks come. Have you ever ordered a ponderosa steak? You know you're not getting anything close to the traditional definitions of a steak, but it's a brown slab of meat-ish stuff. These are not what I would consider real steaks. Real steaks have varying shapes and sizes, and not that artificial, thick wedge shape to them.
  Waitress argued that the two twin steaks were different sizes.
  Special of the day- canned green beans!
  
  Overall this place is horrid. I could expect less and Denny's and pay less - knowing I'm getting a certain quality there. At Texas Corral they play it off as if they're a REAL steakhouse. They can't even compete with Montana Mikes, that that's pretty poor.
