My friends and family wanted to take me to a quick dinner for my 25th birthday. We all arrived at 7pm on Wednesday, January 9th for dinner. We were told it would be about a 35 minute wait because of the size of our party... there were 17 of us! After waiting for 45 minutes we inquired about how much longer our wait would be. A server came over and said there was a mix up and he would clear a section for us and it would just be about another 10 minutes. In the meanwhile, the manager came up and gave us the same speech. At 8:05pm my mother once again inquired about our wait and the manager said she thought we had already been seated. By 8:20 we had STILL not been seated and decided to go elsewhere.

The hostess' were eating, throwing peanuts and chit-chatting the entire time we were waiting. A guest with my group asked about the handful of open 6 top tables located  near the restrooms and a server/hostess proceeded to get an attitude and couldn't believe that we didn't take into consideration that server had already been cut for the evening. She proceeded to carry on an entire conversation about it while I was standing near the booth and could hear her very clearly!

Needless to say, we left. We went down to Outback where they did a fantastic job making up for Texas Roadhouse's ill-equipped restaurant and management staff!

Let me start out by saying that I *like* Texas Roadhouse (as a chain).  This one, however, is just awful.  I live close by, but we don't go all that often due to the way it crowds up and the horrific noise level.  However, I have to say that every time we've been there, there's been some problem with our food.  On one visit, one of my husband's pork chops wasn't just rare, but raw and cold in the middle.  We sent it back.  When it came back out, it was STILL raw and cold in the middle.  On another occasion, the batter on our onion "cactus blossom" was not just undercooked, but still liquid (can we say Salmonella, boys and girls?).  It was replaced, and the batter was still liquid on the replacement.  The coffee is consistently *horrible.*  The "fresh vegetables" are most frequently cooked to pablum consistency.  The last time we were there, I ordered the roasted chicken.  After waiting *40 minutes,* the waitress THEN told us that, oh, they didn't have any half-cooked chickens left and had had to make mine from raw.  When I finally received my chicken, it was like chicken jerky -- dry as a bone and really tough.

The steaks are fine here.  Just don't get anything else.

I've been to many Texas Roadhouse restaurants and loved them, so this is no slam against the chain.  It's just this one Roadhouse that seems to have these problems.

Came here with my parents and my brother and his family. The wait was a little long but not too bad for the little ones! We waited for our table at the bar and the bartenders were very nice! And they made very yummy drinks! The service was great! We sat down and there was very limited wait time for the meals to be served. The kids didn't get that antsy and that's always a plus!! The food was great! I recommend the salmon! It was delicious! I mean really really good!! This is a good family place and I will definitely be coming back here again! :)

I placed an order to go @ the bar for our family on January 18th. Spent $65. All of us were missing a side and no rolls and all of our steaks where not properly cooked as ordered. We had ordered steak kabobs on one order and was told they were out of kabobs and they gave us a steak. We called and were told they were sending us a $50 gift card. It never came. We called yesterday and they didn't believe it was for $50, only $15 and they had forgot to send it. I will never go to this place again. Rude managers and poor service.

This is a great Texas Roadhouse location with great food and excellent service.

However, it seems like this location, specifically, has been suffering from RPS (Reduced Portion Syndrome). I've been to three different Texas Roadhouse locations in the last year, and this location has the smallest portion sizes by far. When you pay $13 for a meal, you expect to receive a portion larger than something you might order off the kids' menu.

I love this place. I just wish their portion sizes were comparable to what you might get at the Greenwood location.

Love Texas Roadhouse!!!!  But lets be honest this Texan loves anything with the word Texas in the title!  When we are in the mood for steak and don't want to drive far this is our favorite choice in Avon!  Wish they had lunch hours during the week.

Steaks are aways cooked exactly how we order them and the bread and honey butter are awesome!

Dollar for dollar, my first choice for a juicy steak.  Berry and Sia? Cya? in the bar area have always been great to us.
