Be very drunk if you plan to order off the menu. Â So much so that when you eventually vomit, and you will, hopefully whatever variety of food poison you ingested will be expunged. Â Better yet, get so drunk you are incapable of ordering from the menu and your speech is so incoherent from one long vowel movement that no one can understand that you accidentally ordered the swill they call "food" here.
Review Source:Where do i start with the review of Tide Mill... Well i recently moved to the Hampton area due to my husband being in the air force, we are 21 and 22 years old and ofcoruse love a bar scence. I love Tide Mill for the bar aspect, i have not had any of the food besides the chips and salsa which was fantastic because it was spicy! Its a smoke free bar so you dont go home smelling like a pack of cigs. The only complaint i have of that place is the DJ. She plays the same songs every weekend and its a very "clicky" bar. So going in there as new customers you might feel left out besides the bar tenders are very nice!
Review Source:The Tide Mill Café is a strange little place in Hampton that has a lot of character. I first went there late night with some friends and I found the atmosphere to be welcoming and cool. There are pool tables & we shot a couple of games & split a cheaply priced pitcher. Over time, more people came into the place and it got a bit crowded and loud, but it was still a good vibe overall, I felt.
The food though is what kind of throws me off. It's Korean food with some American items thrown into the mix, I guess to serve as bar food or something. The American food is pretty standard--chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, etc. But the Korean food is surprisingly okay. I suggest trying the Kimchi.
