Absolutely amazing. My husband and I were in town for a quick errand and decided to grab lunch. We walked around and decided to try this place. It's decorated like you're in grandma's house or an antique store. Very cute and it feels like home. The waitress brought out a cheese spread with crackers which was to die for. I ordered the fruity chicken salad. It was very light and fresh. We also split a cup of tortilla soup that was very delicious as well. You could tell everything was homemade and fresh. I highly recommend this place!
Review Source:Alright so my first review!
I absolutely LOVE this place, it is so tasty! I discovered this place with a friend a year ago and now I go as much as I can(since the heat outside I'm kinda turned off by hot tea, oh but watch out in the winter! ^_^) My sister and I love the Turkey Parm. sandwich and the french onion is soooo good! I have yet to try the crepes, but they do sound very delicious. Â Also I took my sister out for her birthday to what is called "High Tea" it is 18$ a person - it includes your tea, she starts you off with a 3 ring stand with 3 plates of sandwiches and scones, then you get a desert 3 plate stand. It was very cute for the occasion, but I recommend it only for special occasions as you need a 20 min pre-order for it and its pricey for each person.Their newer server is extremely nice too, I definitely enjoy her geniality. ( I wish I knew her name would give credit)
So all in all, I say everyone young, old, male or female, needs to try this place because it is truly a hidden gem!!!
I've never been to a tearoom because I've never really been a fan of tea. But not until very recently did I figure out that *most* tearooms also have the most scrumptious-sounding menus you'll ever read. How foolish I've been all these years! I've missed out on 24 years of homemade soups, sweet scones, savory crepes, delicious quiches, and of course, delectable little tea sandwiches! Stupid, stupid, stupid. I've since learned my lesson.
I first went to Tiffany's in the winter to try their homemade soup for a column i write in the newspaper. The owner/waitress brought out a cup of her homemade pumpkin soup. And it was literally in a TEA cup. Adorableness!!!! Anyway, this soup was amazing. It wasn't the typical pumpkin-curry soup. It was thick and custardy, spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg, and topped with a large dollop of homemade creme fraiche. It was molten pumpkin pie in a teacup. I'm never going back to the pumpkin curry soup again.
The rest of Tiffany's menu is just as tasty. They specialize in quiches and savory crepes, but my favorite meal on the menu is a tea sandwich sampler plate, which comes with tiny finger sandwiches stuffed with the owner's homemade recipes for chicken salad, egg salad, tuna salad, probably cucumber-cream cheese, and definitely some others that I just cannot remember.
Another characteristic of tearooms that I've missed out on in the past is just how cute these places really are! Tiffany's is in what looks to be an old house in downtown historic Crown Point, right across from the Court House shops. It's decorated--very femininely--in lots of florals and antique tea settings and table settings. This is probably more of a place to have lunch with your mom. This is NOT a place for dudes. Unless they can overlook the frills and just concentrate on the awesome, awesome menu.
Tiffany's also offers an all-you-can-drink tea deal for around $2. Your table is stocked with about 50 tea bags of various brands and flavors and you are supplied with an endless pot of hot water. After trying tangerine, chocolate-orange, and passionfruit  white tea, I am now a definite tea-drinker.
Top off your afternoon tea at Tiffany's with complimentary cranberry scones drizzled with an orange glaze and cheddar-pecan spread, and you, too, will become a tearoom devotee.
