went there for breakfast before spending the day at the Dunes. Really great! I had eggs, corn beef hash and Texas toast. Hubby had blueberry pancakes and ham. The food was delicious, the waitress was sweet as pie and the price was right on. Â Will definitely be back. Just wish they had a location in the northwest Chicago suburbs.
Review Source:Why did no one tell me about this place sooner? Â I've been searching and hoping for a Sonic to open closer to Chicago when I've been this close to such amazing burger-y goodness? Â The biggest compliment I can give to Schoops is that it makes it worth it to be in Indiana.
My friends and I headed out to do some strawberry picking and needed a place for lunch. Â Schoops provided us with perfect patties with lacey, crispy edges, shakes, huge baskets of fries, and something called "Irish Nachos" that included ranch dressing, cheese sauce, french fries, scallions, and bacon. Â I'm told it was transcendent. Â Did it look a little sketchy from the outside? Â Did one member of our group get asked if he was Serbian by a man who pulled up next to him in the parking lot? Â Yes and yes. Â Does that make it any less awesome? Â No.
