Five Star Thai Cuisine

I really enjoyed my short visit! I spent a 15 minute car ride trying to figure out what I wanted to eat- and was very pleased with my results! I had a lunch special- it came very quickly and the service was excellent.

Great place and I have been going here for years!  It's really is a hidden gem! Everything is tasty.  My friends and I always order the same entrees, I love the panang curry and my friend adores the pad thai.  Great flavors and just as good as Thai in Chicago.  If they had pan friend noodles it would be perfection!!  If you visit in the summer make sure to get the MANGO STICKY RICE!!!!!!! OMG so good!!!  Service is meh and it sucks that it is no longer BYOB but I can deal ;)

I think one and a half stars probably more accurate. My spouse and I have been here 3 times over the course of a year hoping somehow things would get better. Rude service from our server on the latest visit was breaking point.  The food is just bland. Menu states curry is in a traditional coconut milk stew. I am hard presses to believe this. Tastes like chicken stock and not much else.  I love Thai food and I really wanted to give this place a pass simply because  options in this area are rather limited. After three visits with consistent bad food I know this is not by chance. Id recommend passing on this establishment. Try Asparagus in Merrillville or its sister restaurant Siam Marina in Calumet City. They are a little more expensive but the food quality has been consistently superior to what you'll find here.
