If the idea of being served through covenience store style bullet-proof glass is too much for you, this might not be your scene.

I've ate at other places close to the truckstops in this area over the years, but none of them really made me eager to come back after 2-3 visits.

They have a big selection of fish, chicken, shrimp, sides, deserts.

I was prepared to say the food may be a little overpriced after ordering the large fried catfish fillet dinner with fries and a drink.. But the amount of food changed my mind... 3 huge, cooked to order, fluffy, flaky fillets... Delicious

A little pricy for 13 total, but i could have had the small dinner and drink for 11 and still be full.

Taste/quality 5... I will definitely go here again

I Fucking love this place I've been coming here for a year now any time I'm in Gary I stop. I know I should try other places but the hell with that if you got something good why mess it up? I've even waited an hour for it to open, ok it might not be good enough to wait for an hour but I had to get my wing dinner!

anyways the wings are full sized and breaded not buffalo but  the hot sause they use is awsome. They have a lot more than that though. You can get fried catfish witch is the best oysters other kinds of fish shrimp, huge shrimp. everything is fried so if you don't like fried food then go back to mars!

they are always very nice hosts and they don't even have to be cause they have a bullet proof glass window for security. If you get a chance stop here they have awsome cheese cake too other home cooked sides every thing bad for you but damn it's soo good.
