Pepe's Mexican Restaurant

The Griffith Pepe's does not have good food.  On a carryout to save money, they wrap the tocos in wax paper folded funny.  They are always greasy, leak all over the paper bags & usually cold , they  also stick to the paper.   Today when I ordered them  someone must have dropped the salt shaker in them because we had to throw most of them out.  Because of new owners I wanted to give them a chance but after the third try we will never go back.  We really like pepe's food so will have to drive to Hammond or Merrillville.  The new owners gave the place a much needed cleaning but the other owner had MUCH better food.  Most of my friends agree with me,

The food is just ok to me, we used to come here awhile back until we
finally found our favorite places for Mexican food.
