I don't know what happened but a dozen of us went to Tiger Bar the other day and it was terrible!! Â First off it was 11:25 a.m. and they supposedly serve breakfast until 11:30. Â I ordered the fried chicken first (more later) and my friend wanted to order breakfast. Â The waitress (young, blonde, white woman, medium build) responded "we either serve breakfast or lunch but not both." Â What?? Â And she was a bit rude about it. Â My friend ordered the fried chicken like I did. Â Another ordered a salad and a bowl of chili.
When our fried chicken arrived it was grossly overcooked and dry. Â When my other friend received his bowl of chili he was not given a spoon nor the iced tea that was ordered. Â After waiting about five minutes (and watching the waitress attend to other tables) we got tired of waiting and asked another waiter for help and he immediately assisted us. Â I also asked the original waitress for some bar-b-que sauce to help the taste of my fried chicken and I NEVER received the sauce.
A couple of us are asian, another couple are hispanic and one white so I hope this was not a racist thing. Â The waitress seemed to serve other tables of whites just fine and even joked with some of them.
All I know is that we will never enter that place again.
In a very quaint and pleasant environment with great service we sampled the turkey burger, patty melt and  the bean and cheese burrito.
The turkey burger was very salty and rather tasteless. The patty melt was adequate, and the burrito was filled with olives, onions and red peppers topped with heavy cheese and a side of beans and more cheese...since I requested light cheese, I shudder to think what it may have been had otherwise. Would I return? Probably not.
