I used to like this place when I worked in Countryside a few years ago.
Recently, I was in the area and stopped in for dinner and they carded my daughter- when she ordered a Coke. They said no one under 21 allowed. We were at a table, nowhere near the bar.
So we went down the street to Applebee's and sat at the bar without any problem. So, just an FYI- it's just a BAR, not a "bar and grill"
I couldn't rate anything except the attitude and lack of explanation I got from the waitress- so there's your one star.
I swear I did a review on this place already, but can't find it on Yelp. We went a few months ago for my grown nephews birthday. Very crowded but everyone visiting the bar was pleasant. Â The bartenter was great, I told her I need a weird or strange shot for my nephew, she made it and it was awesome looking. I won't say the name on here and I had never heard of it before. When we first got there we went to the back because there was no tables available at the time and we were standing which was okay except for this one waitress was really rude and kept being rude all night to us. She kept saying not to stand where we were, not telling us if we were in the way or if it was a hazard area or something similar to that. The only problem I saw was she was eating pizza near where we were standing and "maybe" she thought we were going to try to eat it. We ended up with this great waitress and if I remember right her name was Paige. She got us our drinks right away when we needed more, she was friendly and had good personality. We played pool and had some wings to eat. Great place to have a drink!!
Review Source:Worst service I've had in a long time!! A couple friends and I sat at the bar, meeting after work to have a couple drinks, have dinner, and chat. When we first arrived, the bartender was nice. She gave us menus, got us the drinks we ordered, and came back fairly quickly to take our order. Everything was fine at first. But as time went on, that wasn't the case. We ordered our pizza, which came quickly as well, but as we sat there talking to each other, napkins on our plates to indicate we were finished, it sat, and sat, and sat - for about 45 minutes!! During this time, my friend placed her empty beer bottle on the bar to indicate she wanted another, and it took about 15 minutes before the bartender even ventured to our end of the bar to retrieve that. When she finally came over, my other friend asked for her check and the bartender got it for her. You might think she'd have acknowledged all of us since we were in a group together, but she didn't ask us if things were okay, if we needed our check as well, nothing. So when we indicated that we would like ours as well, she went and got it and still didn't ask us if we needed a box for the more than half the pizza sitting there. Very strange. But it gets more strange... We asked a waitress walking by for a box, since the bartender disappeared again, and she was polite and said she'd get one. But as minutes went by, she never came back! We saw her talking to another bartender in the corner of the bar. Then, very oddly, a woman came over (maybe a manager) and asked us if everything was okay. I told her no and why. She did nothing to make us feel better about anything that went on. She made an excuse for the waitress who said she would bring us a box, saying she was "new." Really? So new that you can't grab a to-go box? Overall, the service was more than awful. Even the manager wasn't really apologetic. We won't be eating/drinking there ever again. Apparently if you're a female you can't get decent service at this place.
