Todd Brian's Brick Street Cafe And Tavern

We went here to celebrate and had a great time!  The owner is super friendly and helpful.  They have the best sweet potato fries!!  We've tried the catfish (they have a special on Tuesdays I think), meatloaf, and country fried steak--all were delicious.
It has a good vibe and would be a good place to come for a date or happy hour with friends.

This place is a great place to take if you want a cheap date dinner. From 4-6 p.m. they have $2 bottles. Their beer drink menu is fairly diverse and lots to choose from. Plus it was $5 burger night.

5 o'clock is a bit dead, but shortly after 6 p.m. this place fills up real quick. Great for couples, groups of people.

The only thing that bugged me was how long the wait was to put in our food orders. The drinks came out quick, but after we needed to look at the menu again, it was a good 15 more minutes until anyone came back to take our orders.

I ordered the Southwestern burger... what caught my eye was that it had avocado on it. Avocado can certainly bring out the flavor of a burger. Also ordered some sweet potato fries to go with it. The gf ordered a Swiss and mushroom burger with a salad.

Food only took the standard 15 minutes to get out. The buns on these burgers were actually legit. Some places don't know how to size their buns to their burgers. I've noticed some places will make the bun smaller, to make the burger look huge. Not this place. It was the right size to where it wasn't too much but enough that the bottom bun wouldn't get soggy. The fries looked like they were freshly cut and fried up good.

Overall for the price and amount of food you get, it was extremely cheap. 2 bottled drinks, 2 burgers came out to about $15 dollars.

Great Old Town location, glad this was my first stop in Wichita.
The waiter was pleasant and got us seated at lunch very quickly as the place wasn't too busy.
The manager swung by and suggestion the fried catfish... My associate didn't expect to find good fish in Wichita, but took a chance anyway!
I had the VooDoo Chicken Pasta.. The blackened chicken was spicy, but was extremely good.  The pasta and red sauce were good.  Well worth the price for this entree.

My associate had the catfish and seemed to enjoy it.  No major complaints from him.

The service was solid, they kept our drinks filled and were polite.  

My sole complaint... Flies.  They flew around our entire meal and annoyed the crap out of me.  
Overall, a good experience!
