Oeno Wine Bar

It gets two stars for the service...always good. And one star for the patio.

The wine is over-priced and it pretends to be a much more than what it is.  Then they decide to have a DJ on the weekends.  I don't get what they are trying to do.

The patio is a great place to hangout on warm nights. Their cocktails are great. It so happens that on the patio, with ordering a cocktail you got a cigar for free as well on one of the nights I was there, which made the night even better. It seems a pretty classy place, but I don't know how late it stays open or how the food is. I'd like to go back when I'm a little more prepared for the place. Definitely worth visiting!

The night was dark. Stars speckled the night sky like far away candles. Clouds swirled above as though a spectral presence would soon descend upon Wichitans. The gas lamps hovering over Old Town lit up the cobblestone streets as horses pranced by with riders wearing day coats imported from Italy. Men in top hats wrapped their arms women wearing elbow-length white silk gloves. Romantic duos navigated the bustling city with finesse, stopping only at the most swanky of joints for a quick drink after an evening spent applauding Les Mis.

Oeno was the perfect destination for these speakeasy seekers. With a dark inside and plush leather couches surrounding tables, Oeno seems like the living room of a sommelier's dream home. The wine list cannot be reckoned with - whether you're searching for a crisp Riesling from the Rhinehessen or an okay, warming Merlot from Chile, the pleasant staff at Oeno will be willing to recommend something for your current mood.

The food is delectable and can be personalized to any palate. Craving an exotic Lavosh with a blend of cheeses? Oeno has it. Desiring some drunk-garlic bread munchies? Oeno has it. Delivered with finesse, Oeno is your spot in Old Town...where sultry and sexy meet fun and fabulous.
