Ate here for a casual dinner before a movie. Atmosphere was casual yet the inside was nicely done, with a large bar which would be a good place to watch a game. The wings and pizza were perfect to split for two, and they had lots of interesting pizza options. The white sangria is delicious, and half priced on Wednesdays. Would definitely come back if looking for a low key place to eat in the area.

We tried this place the other night and were SUPER disappointed. We had their "famous" wings. They were dry and gross with barely ANY flavor (not even salt!). The onions on top were also bland and limp (not tasty). We also had their "famous" pizza thinking traditional was the way to go. How about no?! Gross again - kind of soggy (despite being "fresh out of the oven"). The meatballs we got for my daughter were also bland. So, if you like no flavor, try it out. Otherwise, skip it. Trust us!

This place was great. Food was really good. The wings are way different than your average bar but they came out delicious . The pizza was really good too. The toppings were really fresh and tasted great. When I'm in the area again I am definitely stopping by for a beer and bite to eat!

Food is ok.  Atmosphere is a bit loud.   price is fair.  basically a sports bar.

Love Tommy's. Happy hour all weekend (at the bar) is the best deal in town.  Great wings and Pizza!

The pizza is very good, but a bit on the expensive side. Seems like it was a bit tastier when it first opened. Great beer selection.

I went there twice. The pizza wasn't anything special. $20 for a large pie. First impression was nice place with mediocre food.

Then I went again. Chicken parm hero wasn't great at all. I only ate half and gave leftovers to mother-in-law. Pizza was cooked perfectly according to my companions but had little taste. It was the sauceless pizza with  "B" in the name. Ricotta and tomato on top. Long Island iced tea wasn't great. Cappuccino was worse than a vending machine cappuccino, so milky with little coffee taste.

Horrible and pricy. Service staff was ok.

I so wanted to like this restaurant, but the *burnt* food and awful service have convinced me to never try it again.

My husband and I visited Tommy's on a weekday evening, it didn't seem especially busy. We are local and had previously only been to their other restaurant in Monmouth County (where we had so-so food and service). We wanted to give it one last try. We ordered 1 pizza and sangria. We had a pretty long wait after we sat down and before someone took our order. Then, we had another long wait until the sangria arrived, and finally the pizza. Because they make it to order, I could see a little bit of a wait, but this seemed excessive. So the pizza finally arrived are we were really looking forward to it, and the bottom was very burnt. We ate about 2/3 of the pizza, but the rest was inedible and totally black and charred on the bottom. I figured coal fired pizza just wasn't for us and asked the waittress if it wa supposed to be like that. She took a look at the very large pile of black crust and bottom and said, "Wow, no, it isn't supposed to be like that...I'll be right back with your check." So let me get this straight, the server acknowledged the food was not up to standard and didn't do anything about it, didn't offer to take anything off of our bill, alert the manager, or try to rectify the situation in any way - not what I would call good service, or even mediocre service.

The restaurant is also very loud, not necessarily the place to go in you are trying to catch up with friends or pay attention to a good conversation.

Some of the best pizza around. I highly recommend the whole wheat crust. It's delicious. The bar staff is friendly and fun to talk with. Also try the wings they are an interesting tasks on the traditional buffalo wing.

We tried this place when it first opened. We did not like the food at all. The wings we were told were the best ever. Well they were not. Very fatty and not that good. The pizza was soggy and not crispy at all. Really one of the worst pizzas we had. Will not be back.

First time there tonight- One large pizza (the special feature the waitress recommeded) and one chicken parm + 2 sodas = $45. The food was flavorless, both the pizza and chicken parm. Zero seasonings. No salt no pepper nada.
I mentioned to the waitress and to the manager when he stopped by. Neither one did anything for us. They didn't offer to swap it out or to take any thing off the bill. I'd rather go to the place next door!

Went for Dinner with the kids. Waitress was pleasant and helpful. Kids said they wanted Pizza and we were cruising out on Rt 70 in Brick and saw the sign for Tommy's. Nice looking place. Clean and has a bar but I couldn't get the kids to belly up to the bar so we sat down at a booth for Pizza and soft drinks. Ordered a large pie with extra cheese. The menu spelled out a nice pie but we got a chewy pizza with not a lot of flavor other then very salty. Basil was there but not much and some of the slices didn't have any (we love basil). Brought the left overs home and the wife goes "Not that good, not much flavor". Those Sicilians think they know everything about pizza. We compared it to Ninos on Rt 9 in Toms River and La Gondola in Lakehurst (with we believe the new owners) and both are better then what we had at Tommy's for less money. Probably won't go back.

Were here for pizza.... good pizza with nice atmosphere and a full bar. I do like coal fired pizza a little crisp.

Whenever I go to a new pizza place, with out-of-the ordinary selections, the first thing I look for is goat cheese. I love goat cheese on pizza, and with anything else for that matter. No goat cheese to be found, so points off for that.

    But points back for this:

Mr. C's Jersey Shore Clam Pie
"Baby Clam, Roasted Leeks, Mozzarella & Provolone Cheese, Creme Fresh, Chopped Italian Parsley & Fresh Black Pepper"

Clams on pizza? Never had that, but it sounds good.

    Also:
Black & Blue, Caesar Salad with Blackened Chicken
"Blue Cheese Crumbles & Herb Seasoned Croutons with Classic Caesar Dressing"

If I can't have goat cheese, I'll settle for blue cheese crumbs, which made the Caesar salad better than the average Caesar. I had to search high and low for a crouton, and I'm not sure I found one, because the chicken chunks were cut to the size and shape of croutons.

As for the pizza, the crust was a bit on the soggy side, perhaps due to the clam juice. Otherwise, it was an interesting flavor I hadn't tasted on a pizza before.

The service was pleasant and attentive, but the pizza came too soon while we were still working on the salads.

Note to Tommy: Get a pizza with goat cheese on the menu, and I'll be back.
