Review Source:If I could give no stars I would. This place can kick rocks as far as I'm concerned. First of all, you have a LIVE ROCK BAND PLAYING, and you have the balls to ask me to sit down because your fat ass lazy customers behind me can't see because their to busy making ass imprints on the seats. Wow. REALLY? I have never been asked to sit at a rock show, and I don't plan to make a habit of it . That's not where the disappointment began though. I ordered some food on their limited menu because the cook didn't show up. The order came out wrong, and when it came back, you could tell that all they did was scrape off their mistake. They also asked me to open a tab, even though I told them I was a cash customer. I gave them my card, and told them THREE TIMES to not charge my card, because I had cash. What happened? They did it anyways! I will never return to this dump. If you're tall, make sure you find a seat, because this place is full of dead people and the staff is worthless.
Review Source:This place is very chill, great place to go alone, couple, or with a group... I had such a great time, especially on the dance floor. The DJ plays a variety of music, Cumbias, merengue, pit bull, etc. The band covers songs from like Metallica, depeche mode, a-ha & Etc. it was great having that mixture & breaks between the DJ & live band. By the way, I went on a Saturday night! This place has plenty of parking in the back. Inside it's so spacious, there's tables and fancy couches next to the DJ. No need to dress to impress, since it's more Spanish Rock than anything a pair of chucks is okay! Girls- it's a lounge NOT a club. Don't dress like your going to a freaken Las Vegas club.
Review Source:Work in Progress but a great place. Nice Vibe!! if you enjoy dancing instead of the glamour or show this is the place. service was excellent. Went this pass Friday a Great band was playing Angel Lebron Y Sabor Latino Live Classic Salsa!! it cant get better than that. everyone was on the floor. i felt like i was back home. New York Style.
Make sure you say hello to Joe the owner of the place a very humble guy and don't forget Cindy at the Bar very classy Lady. So welcome Torino lounge as the New Hot spot to check out. Enjoy!
Went to Torino Lounge recently with my wife. we had heard good reviews about the house band and were not disappointed. they've got a very good house band that plays not only good covers but their original sounds as well. drinks are reasonably priced. evertbody seemed to be dancing and having a good time. Â so did we. plan to go back again soon.
Review Source:This place is great!!, I went on a Saturday night and was greeted by the manager Joseph,he is absolutely gracious! Makes great drinks and are priced well. The bartender Angie is gorgeous, and she is so sweet to talk with. The music is very diverse and brings lots of different culture music to dance to. I will be going back there to dance my feet Off..:)
Review Source:UPDATE 05/04/12:
Last night my wife any I decided to hit up Torino Lounge for some drinks to celebrate my birthday. Once inside we were greeted by the owner Joseph who got a wind of it being my birthday and hooked it up with free drinks. This of course was accompanied by a live band covering "The Doors"!
Although this place is not yet officially open, it keeps looking significantly better every time I come around. The owner is freaking amazing! He is the type of guy that will go and sit at every table, have a drink with you, and make sure that you're alright and having a good time. He even showed us the huge space for the kitchen they are going to have in the back. Alcohol, Food, and Live Bands? It just doesn't get any better than that.
From what I was told, the Grand Opening can be as soon as a month from now. This is definitely the place my wife wants to hold her party when her b-day comes up in July. Joseph was very open to the idea of hosting and told us he would hook it up.
When this place is done, it will be the spot to go to for sporting events, live music, and food. I can't wait!
Before I even visited, I originally gave this a one star review because the venue was associated with a promoter, Rich Vreede - AKA Black Cat Entertainment, who was responsible for stiffing me and so many people at the Mayan Theater back in February 2012 that police had to come escort the guy out of the venue. Since that event I've heard dozens of complaints from people and bands claiming Black Cat had owed them money going back years. Reportedly the promoter has also had an issue for not refunding tickets to ticket buyers for canceled shows.
So I wasn't expecting much when I visited Torino Lounge but then I met the manager Joseph who was not only unaware of Vreede's past (he had just met him he said), but was probably one of the nicest dudes I've ever met. The venue itself is remodeled and is beautiful and has a great energy and vibe. The bartenders and even the bouncer were really, really cool people and drink prices reasonable. It's got a nice stage, great sounds system for bands as well.
I do think venues should be more careful about associating themselves with promoters like Black Cat, but I also don't believe in guilt by association. Â
I plan on going back to Torino and hanging with the gang again. I'll just make sure it's not a night when Black Cat has anything to do with the show.
