Was here last Friday night. Â I had not been in there for awhile & wanted to see if a Naz native was in town (he wasn't)
Really this place is a one star @ best, but I'm giving 2 cause the great (loco) signs that are in this place. - See pic
Now my review - I walk in & this place allows smoking, OK I grew up in bars where smoking was legal, but have grown accustomed to non smoking joints (no fumar for moi).
There was no one behind the bar. Â So after 3 or 4 mins - I ask the guy next to me & he says the bartender is in the back cooking - Doh.
Finally dude comes out & I get a bottle beer - since they have 3 things on tap & I HATE Spudwieser.  Not even Yuengling  - WTF this is Pennslytucky where's the oldest brew in America?
So I got a Molson. Â Was cheap $3.
Finally, I think this place is inhabited by Naz natives from 25 to 50 yrs old, who don't want to pay for one the areas social club joints (or they have had their memberships revoked -lol). Â Thus, drink elsewhere.
I'm not really feeling the crowd, the bartender told me I didn't look 22(in a bad way), the selection is only in bottle form out of one fridge, and it's actually quite small. Â If you want to have your own Towne House, just simply buy a case of beer, throw it on ice, put some johnny cash mix on, get a dart board, and find an obnoxious sister of one of your friends to be a jerk to people and there you have it!
Review Source:Seems to be an average local dive. Â Went in here after visiting Martin Guitar Co. and was told that the fryer was off. Â Not sure if that meant that they don't serve food, or if we weren't welcome. Â
Noticed that they had a Schmidt Beer sign which appeared to be original. Â Seemed like the kind of place I would have enjoyed if I had 6 or 7 hours and a ride home.
