Umm Yes Please!Came here with my boyfriend after his softball game on a Tuesday night. It was dead on the patio except for a table of two girls catching up and some REALLY drunk (career drunk) men on the patio. They were loud, smoking and just looked a mess. Im not talking frat boys Im talking more of the manual labor blue collar type. Mind you they weren't obnoxious, just loud, that's all. We had a very nice server, attentive and pleasant, no complaints there.

The menu is pretty extensive and we decided on the Nachos to start. It was massive and the toppings by far outweighed the chips and that was ok. We ate most of it with a fork anyway. By the time we devoured it we couldn't even look at the Phillycheese steak/ Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches that we ordered. We immediately took those to go.

Now aside from the genorous portion, I have to say, the Nacho toppings were fresh and tasty. The chili immersed in the cheese was no County Fair winner by any means but trust me when I say you will gladly accept and inhale the nachos, "average" chili and all!

your standard local sports bar.  they have a sunday lunch happy hour when i came here for the first time.  We pummeled through the nachos and quesadillas and a couple bottles of beer.  I have friends who end their runs at the bar and complete their workouts with burger, fries and beer!  If there were a Hash House Harrier Group in CT, this would be a great spot to included on the hashes!

I had the Mediterranean Chicken Couscous wrap with Steak fries during a work lunch. I was fond of the Bleu cheese crumbles, fresh baby greens, peas and diced carrots. It was really tasty. I even chomped through the red onion that came in it and was really surprised at how fresh at tasty this wrap was from a sports bar!

Went in recently for after-work drinks with a buddy of mine.  Nothing bad to report.  We warmed up with Sweet Hot Wings and Potato Skins.  I enjoyed both.  Also had a sirloin wrap which I found delicious.  The sirloin wasn't over-cooked, and it was well-seasoned.

The atmosphere was good, not too loud and not too packed at the time.  Then again, since I live down the street I drive by the place daily and I've seen the parking lot PACKED at times.  But a nice place to go for a couple of drinks.

Having been a big fan of the "original" Bungalow, I was a bit sour when I saw the sign go up for a new "sports" bar in Watertown. But living so close to the location (within walking distance in case of over indulgence), I was inclined to give it a shot. The first thing that caught me was how they had opened up the dining area and the bar; it made the place feel much more spacious and comfortable right away. And the first thing that mattered to me was the bar itself...could they still make a quality martini? Turns out they can, and they can also make some great entrées and appetizers. Then menu is a little left of your standard sports bar fare. It does have many of the standards, but also a few surprises (tower of giant onion rings stuffed with pulled pork anyone?) Great service, great food, sports bar atmosphere that's not TOO sporty, definitely worth a try.

It has been a long time since I have been able to give a confident 5 star review- but I am 100% sure that Triple Play deserves the accolades. My sister, brother-in-law, 7 year old nephew and I had dinner here on Saturday night and we could not have been more impressed, delighted, and surprised by the above-and-beyond good service.  We sampled from across the menu- including a few mixed drinks which we felt were a steal at $5.00 each, an appetizer of onion rings stuffed with house made pulled pork and covered in an amazing spicy sauce, a burger, a sandwich, a plate of mac and cheese, and boneless garlic Parmesan bites.  Everything on the menu is hand prepared from the potato chips to the chicken tenders and everything came out perfectly done.  While we waited for our meal, a magician came out to entertain my nephew and we watched in delight as he worked his way around the room making kids smile ear to ear.  When we mentioned to our very good waitress how it was our first time in, the owner of the establishment, Ralph, came out to talk with us, make a personal connection and ask us if we enjoyed our night.  We had!  Just as he was shaking our hands, the waitress arrived with a huge make-your-own s'mores dessert platter as a welcome and thank you from the owner.  We were completely stunned at how much time and kindness we were showed.  There is just no question that Ralph and his fine team truly care about the people they are serving and want to create friendships with life-long customers.  They have won us over completely and we are looking forward to becoming regulars at Triple Play.

One additional note:  don't let the name "sports bar" alter your expectations for the establishment- it was clean, modern, bright, and VERY kid friendly!  Everyone is welcome!

Went here a few weeks ago on a Saturday  not to crazy busy. Upon ordering a drink the skinny cosmetology school drop out looking bartender seemed almost appalled that the tattooed "freak" was trying to order a drink.....She seemed much more interested in the jersey shore gorilla that seems to troll these parts. I took the safe route ordered a beer. The girlfriend ordered a White Russian, first, she had to ask a fellow bartender how to make it. And then apparently thought it was ok to use individual tear off top coffee creamers in replace of milk or half and half. ( the dude does not abide man).  As a bartender myself I always try to reason with a busy staff when out at a bar and understand some people have an off night. But I refuse to let a crayola crayon makeup job and a push-up bra substitute for a bartender with true mixology skills and decent set of customer service skills. The food (basic bar apps) were really good!   Been  to ojoes ever since though and enjoy it much more.

Sometimes this place is insanely busy on the weekends and it's close to impossible to get a drink, but more often than not it's nicely uncrowded (if that's a word). I like the option of sitting in the patio in summer or standing in the cold with my smoking friends. Friendly bartenders are quick to refill, and the owner usually comes around to check if you're sitting in the restaurant area.

The food is hit or miss. Very nice selection that is way better than typical sports bar food. I've had a few things that lacked flavor or were overcooked, but it's not a bad option if you're in the mood for bar food. I wish they served food later in the night though (kitchen closes at 10 I believe).

Pork stuffed onion rings & wings are tasty!
    Build your own burger decent.

Nice selection of beer. Big TVs everywhere if that's what you're there for. Juke box fun & not too loud. My go to place for the area. Lots of families there in the daytime or for early dinners.

Very courteous staff, well-furnished and clean. Owner was very involved, cleaning tables and chatting with folks while we watched a Patriots game. I've seen half a dozen restaurants at this location. I hope this one sticks around. Honey mustard chicken salad is fantastic.

I have eaten here several times and each time I have been happy with every meal.  As far as sports bars go, it has PLENTY of televisions everywhere.  It is rare that you will go there and you won't have an event to watch.  My only complaint about it was that it is a little loud (the juke box etc...)
The menu, surprisingly, offers many different options than you expect from a sports bar.  I love the build-a-burger menu.  My favorite item(s) are the mac-n-cheese and with any sandwich you get house made potato chips.  Thick cut, crispy and delicious; sometimes they are on the salty side however.
Each and every time I have gone there, the owner has come around to his patrons' tables and asked how things were...etc...  Very rare these days to see that and to me, means a lot that the owner is on premises and CARES about his customers.
Of course, we will be going back.

I really wanted to like this place...After all there have been several different restaurants in the same location in recent years.  Anyway, the food has always been good and the choice of TVs is great.  BUT....When I heard from a former bartender that once a top shelf or even middle shelf liquor is emptied, they replace it with bar liquor...I lost all interest in this place.    For that reason alone, I will never return.

Great appetizers - the Loaded Chips are my favorite thing in Watertown!  Plenty of TVs  & they are more than willing to tune to the game you want to watch, wherever you are seated.  The decor is great - very classy for a sports bar, which is a refreshing change.  The salads are really good too.  My husband & I are here about once a month! Great local place!
