Don't be afraid by the extremely scary exterior, that looks like the set of a horror movie. Â We were kind of afraid to go in. Â One of my friends said: "is this safe? Â You know I'm black, right?"
There are 2 pool tables in the front with a traditional bar, and then a hallway that connects you to the back with the other end of the bar, and a big chalkboard-painted room with a stage. Â They do karaoke on Fridays & Saturdays and it AWESOME. Â The KJ Michelle plays great music in between songs, keeps thing moving.
Crazy mix of people there: gay Bears, a black Diva, some white suburban women wearing Wal-mart's finest, a hipster Latina guy, a retiree in his 70s in a hawaiian print shirt, some guy wearing a full mechanic's uniform, complete with his name stitched on it and a trucker hat. Â
Drinks are CHEAP too -- we drank all night long for $30, when we were expecting a bar tab of $50. Â
Don't forget to tip your KJ and your bartenders. Â I will definitely be back!
