Old Tucker Fountain

I've been a fan of this place for a while, especially as a local music venue (and for its milk shakes). The reason I was moved to review it today is that I stopped in for a snack before hitting the Farmers Market, and finally ordered one of their dogs. Really enjoyed it, and recommend it as a quick snack - especially before going next door to buy the healthy stuff :-)

This place has such potential.  But, I waited 30 minutes while in a hurry for a to-go order only to have pretty poor food.  They need some design help and just overall organization.  It looks like a business that had the "business" part as an afterthought.  Again, tons of potential... and I really want it to work!

Come for the intrigue, leave before the food gets to you.

I ordered a meatloaf sandwich. I got a piece of reheated meatloaf with a slice of american cheese.  

The whole time I was eating the sandwich, the wife and I were treated to an infomercial on all the happenings at the place from the guy behind the counter.

After choking down the overpriced food, the guy chased us down the street (we had to park at the end of the block) because I didn't pay him correctly. (I had to punch in the total myself in the machine!) After I handed him the cash to make him go away, he had the audacity to try and bum a ride back to the restaurant.

Single worst dining experience I have had in Tucker.
