Great Bar in Erie.  Awesome selection of beer on tap, which is rotated daily.
Nice lounge area.  Will be a place that I will be frequenting

Don't get their buffalo dip unless you want disappointment! It's extremely high in sour cream, and not spicy in the slightest. Even after I added an entire ramekin of their weak hot sauce I could hardly feel any burn. The beer list is great, however, and is rotated frequently.

Our service was amazing: Aaron! We got a mini craft beer course with our main courses- try the beer dip & carbonara pizza, you won't be disappointed!

I've only been here during Happy Hour, but they have great pizzas and the brew list is always impressive! Like I said, I haven't been here for any of there entrees but I love teh appetizers!

A great selection of beer, enjoy it.  As for the food... unless you like cottage cheese and more iceberg lettuce than you can shake a stick at, I would venture to say that the food here is expensive and bad.  Now for the ambiance, for some reason this place attracts a fair amount of cougars and guys in their midlife crisis, which can be annoying if you're not in the mood.

Great food and atmosphere. A beer drinkers paridise over 20 on tap and many many more bottled. Had pumpkin apple soup and a club sandwich both very good. When we got there the only seating was on back patio it was cool but dont they have patio heaters nice touch. Will be back for sure.

Perfectly located in downtown Erie, this is a true beer-lover's bar. Their taps change regularly, so it's common to go back once a week and always see a few new selections. It's definitely worth going for happy hour if you want to try a few.

Food selection is good, but I kind of wish they had a bigger menu. Stick to the pizzas for a safe bet - I've tried them all, and you can't go wrong.

It's best in the summer, because then you can opt to sit outside on the sidewalk. Unfortunately, there's only a very small part of the year in Erie that you can dine outside.

We found the U Pick 6 Tap House by chance - we were staying at a B&B one block away. Noticed the cool "inside/outside" bar feature (basically, a bar that opens into the interior space, but you are sitting outside) and the fact that there was a reasonable crowd (not packed/not deserted) even later in the evenings. We decided to check it out and are glad we did! HUGE selection of beers - I had a Lindeman's Framboise and a very good Apricot Wheat Beer and both were very reasonably priced. My husband had a couple of lagers - he enjoyed. We sat at the bar and found the bartenders to be low-key, personable and knowledgable about the beer. The local Gannon girls were amusing ("we aren't doing shots . . . YET!") Can't say anything about the food, as we were there for later-evening drinks, but liked the vibe a lot. Thoroughly enjoyed our visits to the Tap House!

(AKA The Tap House) Since I don't drink, I can't really say much on the drink selection, however, their food is pretty good - Some of the best in Erie - and that's pretty tough to say! I wish I had found it sooner since I'll be moving away from Erie in the next month. Their grilled pizzas are great!

Great beer list. They update the chalkboards behind the bar in real-time, so check those (inside, behind/above the bar). The space itself is clean, industrial, but friendly.   Service also consistently good. Happy hour looks like a danger zone with half off drafts. Amazing ... but a danger zone.

Downfalls: food is completely meh. It's not bad by any means, but its definitely just deli food that they try to make sound better than it really is. The side salad is a nice portion, and the potato salad was good (although it was listed as a tri-color potato salad and it was definitely just some yukon golds). The sandwich I had was so blase;  ciabatta tasted store-bought as well as the toppings. I realize you can't expect much for ~$8, but I was hoping for more.

Overall it's fantastic for Erie, but it's slightly above average for most places. Thinking it will get a star up-tick if the food is a win on the next visit. Apparently the pizza is the big hit, so this is to-be-continued ...

Definitely an unexpected find in Erie.  U Pick 6 is a tap house / beer bar that has good good as well.

They have a full bar, lots of TVs, and likely one of the best beer lists in Erie.  They don't have any crap beers on tap, and specialize in a constantly-rotating draft list of micros and Belgians.  It didn't appear to be up-to-date online, but it's constantly updated in the restaurant.  If crappy beer is more your style, they also have a lot of macro-brew bottles.

The interior is decorated nicely, the menu is well-designed, and the service is good.  I would expect to find a place like this in a bigger city, so it's great to find something like this in Erie.

The food isn't going to blow your mind, but it is good, and the KITCHEN IS OPEN LATE!  The food is a mixture of sandwiches, paninis, salads, and apps.  They don't have a fryer, so don't expect any fried bar food (yay!)

Finally, for happy hour....as J.J. says, 1/2 off pizza and flatbreads, but the piece-de-resistance is 1/2 price all drafts from 5-7.  Holy good deal, Batman.

This is the best beer selection in all of Erie (a rotating draft selection of 22 microbrews... plus wine, plus mixed drinks), located in a great spot on State State not too far from the bay. You can drink outside on the sidewalk as well, since the bar opens up to the outside. It's the only bar on State Street in which you can do this. The decor rocks. The menu is great and from 5-7 everyday it is half off pizzas and flatbreads, which are tasty, "gourmet" stone-cooked pizzas and flatbreads.
