This unassuming appearing little restaurant in an equally unassuming appearing strip mall known as Seagrape Plaza has surprisingly wonderful food. There are only about 6 unadorned tables inside, but the menu is a knockout.
They are open every night except Sunday for dinner, but only Thursday & Friday for lunch, from 11 on. The 4 of us stopped in on a Thursday for lunch and were blown away - we left vowing to return sometime soon for dinner.
Between the 4 of us we had: Gravlax (smoked salmon) Salad, Caesar Salad, Fish & Chips, Vera's Famous Beef Enchilada, Grouper Bits & Chips and shared a Orange Creme Brulee (a house specialty) for dessert. Everything was excellent, even the French Fries which were among the best I've tasted in a long time.
Unfortunately, the wine list is pathetic & contains only low grade, barely drinkable wines. But overall this is a special place & we'll certainly be back.
