  I went here with my wife on a Friday night and we had a great time. It was not some extremely special club but a good club all the same; which is why it is a 4 as opposed to a 5. It is located in a portion of the Saratoga raceway and casino, but if you have been to Vegas or AC this is not odd. The drinks were well priced ($12.50 for a screwdriver and a very strong vodka-monster) and the staff was quite friendly and courteous. Also, with the huge setup and large band there was no cover charge whatsoever and they offered $3 valet.
  
  They had a live band playing "The New York Players" which created a great scene. The dance floor was and remained packed and the fact that is a bi-level club adds to experience as you can get out of the crowd and go the the second floor to relax and take it all in. If you are looking for a good time and just want to go to a good club this will fit the bill.
  
  As a bit of warning the club does seem to cater to a 28-45 demographic, so if you are looking for hip-hop it might not be for you. Otherwise I invite you to go and enjoy this fun place.

  Vapor has been open about a year, and has spent butt loads of money in advertising. I've had little interest in going there because it is at the racino. For those of you lucky enough not to know what a racino is, it's where your soul gets sucked out of a video slot machine. Not even a real slot machine with an arm, but some ridiculous video game designed to take your inheritance from the aged and bored. There is a harness track attached to it that runs races all year. THERE IS NO WINNING AT THIS PLACE! YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR MONEY!
  
  I don't know why people are there, but they are there in droves. Nearly 2/3rds of the machines had a zombie at it loosing points that used to be dollars. Hard earned, post tax, genuine money.
  
  I'm not against gambling, but please let there be a person that wins. Play against strangers who can swindle you and enjoy your money, not some stupid machine.
  
  Why, beloved reader, am I spending so much time talking about this? Because there is no other way to get to the club than by getting lost is a sea of machines using the major pentatonic scale and  1-3-5 notes to hypnotize people into feeding these greedy machines.
  
  I get retail anxiety in malls, and had a similar experience (shortness of breath and feeling hot and but can't sweat) negotiating the gaming area to get to the club.
  
  When we finally found the lavish club and I was impressed. State of the art sound, lights and video system. It's 2 floors with a cool bar, great dance floor and stage.  
  
  At first they had some cheesy music but later a fairly talented DJ came on. He looked like he had sold his soul but still had some skill.
  
  The crowd was pretty weird. Clearly most had been playing slots all afternoon. The busty bartenders and waitresses provided some relief to the scene, but overall this is not really a cool place.
  
  That being said after a couple of scotches my friends and I hit the dance floor and had a pretty good time. They earned one star for that, and one for the quality of the A/ V.
  
  If your going out with a bunch of friends, Vapor might be alright (once you get past those blasted machines!). But it just does not make the grade as an actual cool place.
