A bit of a hot mess. Ordered drinks, took 20 minutes to get them. Ordered food, wow. Took a long time to get and it was not good. The nachos were dry and almost no toppings. The loaded potatoes skins were dry and I am confident they were a day or two old. Then we were told they didn't have any dishes for us to use. Then we ordered another beverage. It took a while and I also ordered a regular Coke. I was asked several times what I was drinking and I still got a diet Coke. Â If the food was regular pub food and it tasted good, that would make the experience much better. Food is really bad.
Review Source:I went there this Sunday to watch the Superbowl. Everything was cool except the stupid manager who wear the Clinton Portis jersey. Â He gave everyone the raffle tickets except me. Â It was for a while also. Its not like he did not notice me. I just kept quiet and kept noticing him if he will realize. Nope he just running around like a kid passing out raffle tickets except me. Cause I am Asian ? ...such a discrimination.
Other than that the waitress is really cool and the food is good. Â I will still go back but hope they straighten the manager out.
I've been there twice now. Â Each time for a comedy show. Â The first time it was for my girlfriends birthday party. Â The service was great, the comedy (the 1st time) was GREAT. Â I cannot say the same for the food. Â Â My girlfriend and her husband ordered the prime rib. Â It was a very small serving and they both commented how little food they received. Â I ordered a cobb style salad and it came with a white creamy type dressing which, after tasting it, I assumed it was some sort of house dressing, almost like a sweet slaw type dessing, very sugary. Â I asked the waitress if I could have some Blue Cheese dressing and she said 'that is the Blue Cheese dressing'. Â Â I made a face like, Â REALLY? Â and she smilled back at me knowingly as if to say....'it's bizarre, isn't it?'. Â I couldn't finish the salad, the dressing was so bad.
The second time to the restaurant was tonight (Oct 12) with my husband, sort of a 'date night'. Â Again the service was great, everybody is very friendly there. The comedian for tonight was not nearly as funny as the 2 comedians who performed the first time. Â Unfortunately the food experience tonight was not good. Â My husband ordered sliders with chili and a side Cesar Salad and I ordered a Pesto pizza.
Firstly it's so dark in there that you can't 'see' your food well enough to know what color it is or in some cases..what it is exactly, so you need a certain amount of 'faith' to start eating it. Â
My thin crust pizza was so so . Â Â The crust was not crispy AT ALL, it was chewy. Â The toppings were unusual. Â The prosciutto was tough, there wasn't very much cheese and the sundried tomatoes were too big and tough to chew. Â The pizza itself wasn't very hot and it took over 30 minutes from the time it was ordered.
My husbands food experience was also bad. Â Â He ate his sliders but couldn't finish his cesar salad, he said the lettuce was soggy and the dressing tasted funny. Â He took approx 3 bites then stopped. Â Nor did he finish his Chili as he said it tasted funny. Â Â This is VERY unusual for my husband who eats EVERYTHING and NEVER sends food back, ever. Â Â Even if he doesn't really like something he will eat it anyway and finish it. Â
We sat adjacent to a couple, at a table next to us, who ordered wings and some sort of salad to share. Â Â I overheard them tell the waitress the wings were good but the salad seemd 'off'' and had it sent back.
During the comedy performance, the comedian interacted a lot with the audience. Â The couple at the table in the front row, right in front of the comedian, sent food back also. Â The reason I know this, is the comedian made a joke about it by asking the lady, at the table, why she was getting a 2nd dinner delivered to her table, and the lady replied she sent the first dinner back.
