Weekend at Bernie's Beach Club

NEVER OPEN A TAB HERE. I had six drinks there, 2 of which were taken care of with cash. I left my card there and called the next day and they met me and said I owed MORE money. I thought this was for the drinks that were not taken care of, but then I checked my account and they has already charged me another $50. I told them that I know exactly what I got and the 4 remaining drinks would not come out to $70 total. Jane or Jill, the old bag who runs it with Bernie told me to come in and she would give me drinks. BS. I dont want that places weak and water downed drinks. I want this company to NOT be able to charge cards without authorization. I have opened a case with my bank and I also know several figures in Old Orchard Beach, because I own in Ocean Park, so they are fully aware of this place and everyone will know that this place cannot be trusted. It was a dive bar and the woman who owns it was swinging from the stripper pole... enough said.

Never will return and will always tell people outside going in how this business is run.

Now that the Ho-asis and the Gay-laxy are defunct where in OOB are you gonna go to let loose and dance the night away? Berndizzles ya'll! They pretty much let you get as hammered as you want up in this place as long as you don't bother anybody. $1.50 jello shots and affordable drink prices. I've never had to pay a cover charge and the owner and his wife are there all the time mixing it up with the patrons. Watch out for when Bernie gets the smoke machine going on the dance floor. He tends to get a little carried away with it. Newly renovated bathrooms and a great deck over looking Palace Playland make this a great stop on any summers day or evening.
