Slow service with limited food options. I'd probably give this five stars in the context of Whidbey Island (not much else to choose from here)... the pies ARE pretty phenomenal. The salted caramel apple pie was fantastic. Otherwise the salads were tiny and expensive. Service was slow.
Review Source:It wasn't bad. Â Not at all. Â However, given some of the reviews on here I was expecting pie nirvana, and instead I got a good slice of pie for a little more than I wanted to spend. Â I tried the salted caramel apple pie (four star) and the triple berry (three star). Â I thought the crust was great on both pies, but the triple berry had more of a cobbler consistency. Â Nothing really held it together. Â The slices alone were $4.50 each, and then an extra $0.50 a la mode. Â I'm not a total tightwad, but $5 for a slice of pie was steep. Â I would definitely consider going back, but I wouldn't make a special trip just for the pie. Â Obviously, others feel different, so I might be either too picky or had an off day. Â The ice cream was also crazy melty. Â It was the end of the day, maybe the freezer had just been opened a billion times and thawed it out a little.
Review Source:A friend brought us an apple pie from Whidbey Pies Cafe in Greenbank Farm. It was the best I've ever had, so I went there about a year later, and again, BESTEST APPLE PIE EVER. Â Me and my two kids just ate it all. Â I'm ready for another. Â Everything about their apple pie is perfect.
