Who would go here? The smell in this place was horrible! It smelled like an old musty basement. Decided to sit down at a table anyway. The chairs were so dirty they were sticky and the table cloth was dirty they must leave the same one on for every customer. For some reason there were no lights on and it was very dark and gloomy. Open my menu, mmmm a nice piece of hair. That's when we decided to leave. My throat still hurts from the musty cigar smell.
Review Source:Been here a few different times and I've always had a lot of fun.
It's worth coming around Christmas time, I am impressed with the lights that they put up in the patio area outside. To be honest they aren't crazy lights but they are still very pretty and give the chilly outside a nice atmosphere.
On Friday nights they have an 80s gothy dance night, I have come to that a few times and enjoyed it a lot. One night my friend came out with me and she was hit on by an older man. We had a laugh over it.
The food here is decent fare I think we ate something here once. Not a bad little night life place to come to.
Please note this is a bar that serves food. Â The crowd is kind of, Â well not my cup of sugar. Â We ordered Chicken wings and mussels. Â The feeling we got was we were putting them out by them waiting on us. Â We seemed to be the only ones eating and this was a Friday nigth at about 6:30. Â The food was not all that good and there were ample intoxicated patrons to ruin the atmoshere.
If you are looking for a place to go out and see live music this might be a good choice for you. Â They do have some pretty good music on certain night but as a food esablishment they are simply out of tune.
This place is a hole in the wall bar, but its fun to get together and have a care free night. Â A popular place for Bethpage High School graduates to come back from college and reunite. Â Catering is available and the food is delicious. Â The beer and mixed drink prices are slightly cheaper here than elsewhere on the island. Â
No need to get dolled up, jeans and a nice shirt will do. Â Has a nice outdoor patio area for summer nights. Â You can park across the street, convenient mall parking! Â Sometimes there is a cover, but if you are a regular, you most likely wont have to pay.
Horton heard one...
Who-ville. Â We all (I think) know the story and apparently the owners of this place are big time Dr. Suess fans. Â To reinforce the name there is a rather large Suessian mural going on in there.
Apart from the story book theme, Who-ville is actually a great little joint and how I've missed it for so long is kind of strange - it totally flew under my radar. Â No longer my friends, no longer.
The outside entrance is situated on a corner and at first glance it looks like a small place. Â Once inside you find out just how big it really is. Â The bar is very long with tons of seats and even with that it can be a bit hard to find an empty spot since this place is hopping.
Follow the bar to the end and hang a right and you are now in pool table territory and as if that wasn't sweet enough - there is a live band jamming behind the pool tables - but wait there's more!
There is an actual sit down dining area - which we did not take advantage of (I'll try the food next time) and the icing on the cake is the side yard area complete with outdoor fire pits to keep you toastie whilst you smoke or just get some air.
Great bartenders making some solid drinks and Quickdraw for you gambling addicts.
Parking on the street or down the block in the railroad parking lots.
