Mystique Gardens Hookah Lounge

What a truly fabulous place! I was greeted by the owner upon entry and we were escorted to the back, with super luxurious and comfortable leather couches. I asked alot of questions about the different hookah flavors as I am not really that knowledgeable, and the manager really took his time to explain to me how it all worked. We were a little hungry and ordered the chicken fingers which were delicious!  The hookah was very nice and smooth - and the ambiance was just great. Fabulous music, in a chill environment right in the middle of Farmingdale. We had a glorious time, and we will definitley be back! Cannot wait to bring friends!

My boyfriend and I visited this lounge back in early July. The decor is very nice and the owner as stated by others is extremely friendly. The major problem with this establishment is  that it is severely understaffed. We had to wait anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes for every request we made. We tried to be understanding and patient but it was ridiculous. The menu did have a very selection and variety.

Came here with my gf.  This was the second time i had ever had hookha (the first being at the cloister in the city) and I was really disappointed.  

The gardens have their hours listed as opening at 7pm, but when we got there at 7 the doors were locked.  The owner of the place was extremely friendly and gave us a pretty good hookah with an ice hose for free.  Things started to go south though after a short bit.  The owner was there by himself till around 9:30.  That being the case he wasn't too attentive and our coals were not changed frequently enough.  Several times we found ourselves hookah sans smoke.  Once two of the owners friends (maybe the belly dancers that were scheduled for that night) came in we were pretty much on our own.  We were looking to leave for a while but he couldn't really be reached as his attention was hampered.

We got the check and there were a bevy of fees that seems excessive and unnecessary.  The sharing fee was the most alarming.  Is it that they actually believe everyone should get their own hookah?

I wouldn't bother going back to the Mystique Gardens... it's not even BYOB anymore.  Do yourself a favor and go to the city to a proper hookah lounge.
