Love going to this pool hall, so happy there is a place like this around now!!! The atmosphere here is much nicer and cleaner than other pool halls around. Usually go on a Friday or Saturday night, and I have only had to wait at max 10 minutes, which was fine since they have a nice bar to sit and wait at with a good selection of beers. I have never had the food here, but I will definitely have to try it.
Review Source:I have been to Cue Nine three times now. Every time I go I find myself surprised. Surprised by the nice atmosphere, with carpeting and class. Surprised by the cool layout with the pool tables available and the seating arranged to facilitate play. But mostly surprised by the food.
You see, I never expect great food from a billiard joint. But the chef is original and creative and the food is simply delicious. Whenever my family wants to go there I am certainly agreeable.
Tell me that when you go into a billiard club you expect to find hand cut french fries with truffle oil, Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. I didn't. But it was a really pleasant surprise. The combination makes for some luscious fries, that's for sure!
Now when I go into a billiard club, I'm not the least surprised to find a burger called The Hustler. But Minnesota Fats would go out of his way to get his pudgy fingers on this burger topped with BBQ brisket and cole slaw. If he hung out here he'd become Minnesota Really Fats.
Another really yummy surprise was the Chipotle BBQ ribs. I didn't see a smoker when I came in, but the chef here is doing something right because these were tender, saucy and had a nice touch of heat.
Cue Nine is not crazy expensive, but its not a dive either. It's friendly, classy, has a nice bar and good drinks, great food and pool tables to boot. Enjoy!
