Based on a comment from another Yelp review and the Sonoma Coast Vineyards website which states, "If you are in the Sonoma Coast area, we invite you to taste SCV wines at the Windsor Vineyards Tasting Room in downtown Healdsburg, California", I came here hoping to taste pinot from SCV, but the tastings are only for Windsor Vineyards wines. They sell sister company wines like SCV, but there are no tastings for sister wineries.

Got there about 15 mins before they closed and the wine guy behind the counter, I believe Paul was his name, was so generous to let us have a quick couple glasses of wine and some coupons for the following day so we could come in and do the proper tasting and take our time. From what we tasted our Chardonnay was great! Service was great!

Fireplace, cozy atmosphere. Right by the main square and the park. Malbec and Syrah are worth doing.

The atmosphere is lovely inside, and the location couldn't be better. Because it sits facing the beautiful main park in Healdsburg, it is lovely to walk along all the shops before or after your tasting.

Inside, they have tastings at the long bar and plenty of bar seating. If you order a glass, you can enjoy the living room- leather couches and warm fireplace. Ambiance is nice, laid back and peaceful with a modern twist.

    Totally worth doing.

Very friendly tasting room that tends to get pretty crowded. The wines aren't so great, but it's a fun experience. A cute little gift shop and a nice, long bar makes for a nice way to kill half an hour in Healdsburg.

We came here on a day trip to the Sonoma Valley area. I specifically came here because I had a Lot18 Wine Country Pass. This tasting room is in the middle of downtown. It's spacious and has a lot of wine related things to buy. We visited on a Saturday, so it was fairly full at the bar. I was not impressed by most of the wines or the service. The young guy serving us basically poured the tasting, told us a little about it, and then walked off. It felt very rehearsed and impersonal, which is a pretty big turnoff when I'm wine tasting. We bought maybe two bottles of something, but now I don't even remember what it was. I didn't get any benefit from my Wine Country Pass despite showing it to the server first thing, which I didn't realize until we were long gone. I wouldn't come here again.

This is not a winery location so much as a classy tasting room in quaint downtown Healdsburg.   But every bit warm and welcoming.  Lilly pup got invited in, too, and spoiled with treats.

Mr. B. has had a secret love for Windsor wines for a decade, but for a while, they disappeared off the face of the earth.  Envision an old guy with pouty bottom lip dragging on the floor.  Pathetic.  See what I have to put with?

Well, they are back, with a vengeance, in a great location, and Mr. B is not dragging his lip anymore.  Bought a combined case of Gewurztraminer and Muscat Canelli.  That may help lessen the pain from the previous separation.

My only torture....why do they have to be right next door to one of the best bakeries around?  The smells......ohhhhh.  Not fair.

While our first visit was less than impressive, I really appreciated the owner immediately reaching out to me and apologizing for our experience.   While it will be a while before we can go back out to try a do over, I like that he personally reached out.  Lest you think he bought my review, I politely turned down his generous offer to send me three bottles of wine as an apology (am I a bad person for wishing I would have taken them, LOL?).

What I was too angry to put in the first review was that while the service in that instance sucked, the wines were very good, in particular the gewurztraminer.  One really great thing about the tasting was that they had bits of some kind of hard cheese (maybe parmesan?) to help palate cleanse.

The store was also quite charming, with lots of cute wine-related knick knacks for sale.  Hopefully our next experience will be wonderful.

A lovely place to wine taste.  Sit down, relax and enjoy.  They offered us delicious snacks and I am enjoying the Windsor Estate  Chardonnay as I type. Recommend.

I've been coming into the tasting room for the past few months and have had very good experiences here. Last Tuesday I came in and wish I hadn't. I came in to buy my usual wine for the music and the older gentleman was very helpful but the shorter man was very unhelpful. The entire time I was there he was rolling his eyes and seemed like he didn't want to be there. If your customers annoy you I suggest you find a job that doesn't include customer service. I really liked this tasting room but after this experience I doubt I will be going back.

Had lunch next door at Downtown Bakery and just stopped in here to get a map of wine country. Wound up having a nice chat with a man that worked there, so we decided to stay for a tasting.

This place looks nice, so I thought the tasting was going to be expensive. I forgot I was in Healdsburg - it was only $5!

The young man who hosted our tasting was knowledgeable yet casual and easy to talk to - right up our alley. Really appreciated the time he took to do "compare & contrast" tastings!

Definitely stop in here for a tasting - whether you linger or quickly move on to the wineries, you'll get a nice intro to wines in the region.

Went to their Grand Opening tonight. Couldn't be a better location right in the middle of the square. Very classy tasting room with lots of vineyard artwork and high-end wine accessories. Vintage Wine Estates is comprised of multiple wineries: Girard Winery, Sonoma Coast Vineyards, Windsor Sonoma Winery, Grove Street, Fire Station Red, Stonefly Vineyards, and Windsor Vineyards.

Sonoma Coast Vineyards really stood out to me, especially their Syrah. I am excited to see this place develop and become a part of the square in the next few months
