Coolest place in Melbourne if you ask me! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were there on vacation and just happened to stop it - fell in love immediately! The bartender was very knowledeable on all the different beers they offer. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definately stop by!
Review Source:I stopped in while on vacation, while my wife shopped for a few hours in the area. Â I was amazed at how large the beer selection is. Â After looking through the very large beer menu for about 15 minutes I finally picked my first brew. Â I enjoyed the idea that if you want food the local resturaunts will deliver with no extra charge. Â I am looking forward to vacation next year.
Review Source:If you are in for some brewwwwwwwwwdogs this place is all you can ask for. The selection: wide, crazy and delicous. No food, but you can bring in your own from the outside (interesting concept...)
I hear they train each server in the famous high altitude beer facilities in the alps to perfect their beers knowledge. So just ask for something that tastes like that orangey-whitish beer you had one time at your friend tonys last summer before last with an orange in it and they'll probably be able to give you something you'll like.
I am a beer geek so finding places to go drinking can be difficult due to I don't drink BMC beer. The beer selection is great and they know to serve beers in proper glassware. Atmosphere is great, staff is great, other customers are generally friendly as well. I have had many friendly beer discussions with people there that I didn't even know. Pricing I would say to be typical for craft beer.
They have live music a few days of the week which is usually pretty good. They have an awesome student discount on wednesdays where you get half off on all draft beer. Â
The only down side it the place can get very crowded which sometimes can make it take a long time to get a beer.
Viera has a beer joint! Franchise location in "The Avenues" mall at the center. Wide selection of draft and bottles, no food but BYOF is allowed. A mingle and drink atmosphere, long bar adjoined by tales and an outside smoking area. Proper glassware is common and selection of beers is 9 out of 10.
Review Source:I love beer, but I'm not too adventurous when it comes to trying new (and/or strange) brews. I tend to stick to my go-to flavors just to be safe. However, I never stick to safe here.
They offer a sampler of draft beers. Little 4 ounce glasses of any of their extensive list of drafts. I always come away with at least one new favorite from this. The bartenders are also great at giving you suggestions. Tell them what you normally drink and they'll give a great recommendation.
The only con to this place is they don't serve food. The pizza place across the street will deliver here though!
This place was a great find, and we joined their membership club for the Tuesday deals. Â Great selection, very nice bartenders, and a friendly crowd. Â It's missing a star because there's only drinking - no food of any kind, no darts, no pool, no music selection (there was music on but you couldn't hear it over the people most of the time). Â They do have some tv's but that's it. Â I've read other reviews that say you can bring food in, but we didn't see anyone doing that. Â Maybe when we go back we will stop at Sonny's or something and get take away.
Review Source:Nice beer selection, although Coasters has the best beer selection anywhere in Brevard. But if you're in Viera, this is as good as it gets. Â Like Viera, it is yuppified compared to the laid back vibe you get beachside.
What really perplexes me is the layout. Â There are some strange little tables where you can sit on a bench side-by-side and look out at the middle of the place, which has no seating. Â The rest of the seating (at the bar and other side of the place) is better, and the outdoor deck is great. Â I just don't understand why there is a huge empty unused space in the middle. Â At least some tables to put your drink on would be helpful. Â Unless I'm at a concert I don't want to just stand around holding my beer.
Yes, you can order pizza or bring in food. Â It is a bit irritating when you have to smell the food from a nearby table, kind of like sitting in an airplane cabin when someone walks on with McDs. Â But I guess if you're the person with the food it isn't irritating to you, right?
The table service was lacking when I visited and it wasn't very crowded. Â Step up to the bar for your first beer if you want to get it in you quickly.
And beware: Â I saw one night they had a prominent Christian artist from the mega-Church at Viera performing. Â Depending on your preferences this could be a bad night to end up there, especially if you're on a date. Â I would probably check out their website first if you're concerned about what kind of live music might be performed.
Upscale place with a good location, and a good, not great selection of beer. Â If you want great, go to Coasters in Indian Harbour Beach. Â However, the two environments are completely different - Coasters, in a strip mall with no outside seating, often strong smell from the kitchen, and a very different crowd, but with a 5 star beer selection!
WOB, IMO, has a 4 star beer selection and a younger, yuppier crowd, but the place has a very poor layout - tons of open floor space, and not much seating. Â I guess this is fine if you just want to stand in the middle of a bar holding your beer the whole time.
I'll go back, for sure!
It's great to finally have a cool hangout in Viera! What a great place! The variety of beers is unbelievable! They definitely have something for everyone! Not sure which to choose? Ask for a sample! Not in the mood for beer? They have a few wines available, or try the raspberry beer - tastes more like fruit punch, a delicious dessert beer! Saturday got crowded as early as 8:30pm!! The outside patio is nice. This place is awesome & is sure to stay packed!
Review Source:Yea finally nightlife in Viera!!! And they are open 12pm till 2am. This place is all about beer but they have wine too and even beer that doesnt taste like beer. I think they have something like 500 bottles and 40 taps. They don't have any food but you can bring food with you or all the local restaurants deliver to them so you can call for take-out and have it delivered to you there. Watch out though it gets packed on thurs fri and sat so If you dont like crowds I would recommend going the other nights or in the daytime. They even let you try samples of any of the taps if they arent too busy. Also try the beer shots my fav in the red monk!!!!
